I've meaning to sort out the slam panel area for a little while and finally got around to it today.
In picture 1 things don't look to bad but I knew there is some cabling that needs sorting and making it tidier.
As you can see in picture 2, somebody has tried to hide quite a bit of cabling...

I'm facelifting the front of my Alfa 147 and it would seem that the bonnet is slightly longer than the pre-facelift.
Does anyone know if I will need to replace the slam panel at the same time as I do the wings/bumper/headlights and...
Does anyone know the part number for the cable tray (or trunking?) that sits on top of the rad/below the slam panel?..... or indeed have a second-hand one which is in vgc? (where the flap-type fasteners actually fasten and its nice and straight?)
I think ive just bagged a cheap facelift slam panel off ebay for my 156 ( I smacked the front end last year and have been driving round witha kink in the bonnet for the last 10 months :lol: thought it was about time I fixed it)

I overheard some slight rumours that a 147 Bonnet and Slam Panel may fit the GT coupe?
Is there anyone out there that knows much about this or can confirm such a rumour?
Struggling to find parts for the GT so considering...
I am wondering why people feel the need to always slam the passenger door on my car when they get out - almost without exception. Im thinking is it me ? Is it something I said or is it my attitude or something that causes people to do this?

My slam panel has always been a mess of peeling and torn stickers and general dirt and filth.
Not any more though. My heat gun made short work of the stickers and some acetone made short work of the sticky gunk they left behind. Serpent added just because I had it.
