Having an issue with a new Larkspeed stage 3 clutch in my GT 1.9jtdm Cloverleaf Q2, it will not disengage at all after fitting.
I fitted the Autolusso solid flywheel conversion/GTA clutch, it started slipping after 40k miles hence the new Larkspeed one.
Feel on the pedal is good...
I'm rather desperate. A while ago I bought a CD Changer Emulator (about 3 years ago so i got good service from the device) that gave me the ability to plugin a USB and read folders on a memory stick as though they were CD's, but it stopped working about a month ago and i'm getting annoyed...
A quick question on replacing a tyre. Is there a rule about if you have a partially worn tyre that you should replace them in pairs (assuming they are on the same axle)?
On our Ford Kuga we have a huge cut in one of the fronts though it is not leaking or bulging, I want to get it...
*I am selling my ulter twin pipe exhaust complete with additional support bracket that I used to convert my 1.4 multiair single exhaust into a twin pipe outlet. You will need a black lower valance to suit the additional opening which can be obtained secondhand easily or I purchased the new...
Hi does anyone have a single inlet trumpet in good condition. Getting Cambelts done next month and want to see if I can swap out my one “ third from right” in picture which has a rusty bit about the size of a 10p coin.
When I bought my car it came with a spare clutch and flywheel. I didn't know the significance at the time but I think the PO mentioned that it was for a "conversion".
Is this the fabled single mass flywheel? Its not as rusty as it looks in the photo, it just has some flash surface rust.
Has anyone tried to install a head unit like this
Which is actually a single din install, into a 159/Brera? The rear section of this android...
Whoever said that driving an Alfa always has a sense of occasion was right, whenever i start it i wonder what will brake on this occasion :biglaugh:
Joking aside, I have a knock / clunk noise coming from the driver's foot well every time i lift the foot off the accelerator pedal at low speed in...
I need a help with an issue that started on Monday - on start up in the morning the car seems fine & drives perfectly to work, no worries there!
However, jumping into it to come home she will have this SINGLE knock sound on start up and then disappear?
I've got no other symptoms whatsoever only...

The clutch on my trusty GT is coming to an end and while the gearbox is off I though I would swap the dual mass flywheel to a single mass one. Have found old threads saying that a Fiat Coupe flywheel is the way to go but have also been told that a Twinspark flywheel is best. Can anyone...
Hi, I thought I'd share my experience of getting a single mass flywheel conversion on my 2007 147 jtdm 150. I bought the car with fsh knowing it had to have the timing belt and water pump done, which I did shortly after purchasing.
After about 5k the clutch started slipping. The clutch had...
My wife has a 2008 147. We are looking to swap the head unit for a Sony unit. We are after a CD player with MP3 compatability and connects to her SAmsung phone.
Anyone have any particular recommendations?
If not Sony would anyone recommend anything else?
Many thanks rsfruitbat
Will update with photos and a video shortly.
I have purchased and fitted a 'straight through' backbox from Wizard Exhausts - 90mm slash cut inward rolled pipe.
Easy to fit, needed to salvage the clamp from the standard backbox by hacksawing the spot weld and tapping it free with...
The bearings are starting to whine a bit and the synchro on first is occasionally stubborn on the C635 box I have in my 2.0 JTDm sportwagon. Given some swarf was found in the oil when it was changed at the last service, I suspect the box is heading for a rebuild at some...
OK, yesterday I passed from an Alfa-authorised service shop, to ask a few questions and order some parts. Big mistake. Big one! These guys gave me two heart-attacks in less than an hour. First the mechanic, who told me that it would cost me around 1200€ to change the camshaft belt, water pump...

I currently have a twin exhaust on my 09 155bhp Mito. Does anyone...
