Did a quick google this morning before filling up - got a capacity of 4.2L, admittedly from a US manual I found online.
Recommended mix for winter was 50/50, or neat for -22 deg C. Thought I’d go somewhere in between, and dumped the whole 2.5L bottle in, but then there was no room left for...
I've heard that you can retrofit the level sensor from the cars with Xenon headlamps to your screen washer tank.
Does anyone have the part number for the level sensor or even better a secondhand one for sale?
Half interesting story..
BMW doesn't want to pay for blocked washer jets - Mr Punter used a non-BMW screenwash fluid #heinous  )..
Non-BMW screenwash hits owner?s warranty
I'm sure he'll buy another one though...
I got my Cloverleaf last night and it's wonderful in every way, apart from one of my front washer jets is literally spitting out a tiny amount of Screenwash, we are guessing it's just gunked up, however, with where they are positioned and with the large size of them, I don't know how to...
as the title...
ive used Bluecol 'sub zero' and dealer specific. Both capable of big minus figures Bluecol offering -36 if used neat whilst dealer specific stuff generally went down to -40ish from memory.
yes i know temps havent been that low here in the UK for many years, if ever. but my jets...
Am I going mad? - I've been using my screen washers quite a bit over the past few weeks but when I tried to top up the the bottle it was still virtually full? A bonus is that I found out that the nozzles are heated as they steam slightly after I've washed the screen
Here's something I never new - cheap screen wash causes the jets and filter on the pump to clog up (at least that's what a mechanic told me) so he said to empty the screen wash and put a kettle full of hot water through it. I also removed the jets and cleaned them with a pin and some thinners...
Does anyone know of a screenwash pump available for sale for an SZ? Or alternatively, does anyone know of another pump that's compatible? The part is listed as being unique to the SZ/RZ but is no longer available from Alfa themselves.
Having some trouble this week. My windscreen washers keep packing up until the engine bay warms up (if it ever does).
I read the screenwash container to see what concentration I should be using for the -2 to -4 temperatures we are having. Undiluted it claims to freeze at -2 (The...

Ok, hands up, this is the question of a cretin.
Despite owning my 1750 GTV for nearly 5 years, I have never refilled the screen was bag/reservoir. I've always found it perfectly refilled after the service. Maybe I don't take it out enough in really bad weather.
Can anyone help me? How...
Hi I recently brought a 156 I love the car she drives like a dream, but the screenwash doesn't reach the wind screen, has anyone got any ideas what would be wrong with the screenwash, its not the jets as they are not blocked, and I can here the pump working, are the head lamp washers conected to...
Mine is missing. or at least the flap part which snapped off.
If anyone happens to be in a scrappy and see one or have one knocking around for some reason let me know. obviously I'd pay for it and postage etc.
Any Brera owners out there (Spider and 159 presumably too) discovered that there is only a screenwash level warning sensor on the cars with headlamp washers?
How daft is that? I still need to know when I am about to run out of screenwash - even though (or perhaps more because of the fact that)...
Does Alfa do it's own brand of screen-wash? I had some in my brand new GTV once that smelt of Evo-stick. Mmmmm!
I've tried every brand I can find since but I can't find the same one. I'm bored of all the soapy or chemical smelling ones on general sale. I shudder at the thought of Halfords...
