  3. Alfa GTA
Hey guys just had a full set of ps3s all round and the car handles like new again. The tyres that came off had all been worn on the inside badly the middle and outer were good, may get the tracking to more zero toe. Anyways getting a strange ticking noise from what seams the front drivers side...
  4. Alfa 159, Brera & Spider
Chaps and chapesses, I've fallen out of love with my 159...., it's turned into a money pit. Feb this year had it's mot £250 new pads and inner tie rods, was to be expected. Two weeks later water pump failed, that was another £430, less than a week after that the steering rack gave up the ghost...

  7. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
I noticed the other day that when I go round a right hand corner I am getting a rattle/sloshing kind of sound. Doesn't happen going left just right. It's sounds like something is rubbing maybe not too sure. Other than that I have no idea. :( Sorry for being so vague but I just haveno clue and...
  8. General Alfa Discussion
Idle thought time... What is the fastest Alfa round a track in these categories ? 1) Production car (any serial production car. Tuning allowed) 2) Race car (Must have raced in anger, so no 164Procar, but 155 DTM and 156 WTCC allowed)

Just had my cam belt done on my J12 by Tony at Ital Autos in Chesterfield. Took her for a blast around the peak district on the way home (slight detour but well worth it :) and she's running and sounding sweet. Can't recommend them enough. Quick and super friendly service. Cheap too! Will be...
  12. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
A question. My info centre display gets brighter when I switch my lights on, and dimmer when I switch them off. Is this usual? It seems the wrong way round to me, and the rest of the dash dims when I switch the lights on.
  13. Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
Took me about 40 mins and was easy but nerve racking at the same time :D wasn't sure if I would like it but it's added so much to the car IMO.

Well this was dad and I's first ever visit to Pembrey (its certainly not a local track), and its a great little track, you can really get close to the action. It seemed a strange little set up compared to the other tracks we've been too but it was actually well worth the treck over there.
  17. Alfa 159, Brera & Spider
Gave her a good clean today, snowfoamed, very cherry on the wheels and then a quick polish with the DAS and a layer of AG HD wax. Too be fair she's the best condition car I've ever bought and Perrys of Amersham even presented her well ! IMGP1795 IMGP1796 IMGP1798 IMGP1800 IMGP1806
  18. Introduce Yourself
Mornin'/Evenin' All, Rolled my 147 a few years ago, so whilst it did try to kill me, it did let me crawl out unharmed, apart from a smack in the face from the airbag(deployed in mid-air?!) and cuts from crawling out over the glass. Got a MkV Golf GT 1.4 TSi 170 - Fun car to drive with an...

Bought the car (159 2.4) couple of months ago when it had an oil and filter change but no reset so Oil Change Required warning has come up now at 29000 miles.
