I need to change my brake pads and rotors, but can't remember what size the two bolts are that hold the rotor in place. I remember it being a 24mm size, but looking at the 24mm sockets it seems way too big. I know the brake pad caliper uses a hex bolt. I just need the size for the two bolts...

I am in the middle of fitting new HT leads, distributor cap and rotor arm. I have read on this and other forums that the rotor arm needs to be removed by cracking it with pliers before removing it. I am a bit reluctant to do this in case I mess things up. Any tips on the best way to do this...

I am about to replace the rotor arm and distributor cap on my S4. I know that the arm is glued to the main shaft of the distributor. Is it necessary to glue the new one in place? I do know that there was a Alfa bulletin recommending this some time back. What are you guys doing?

Hi All, Just checking on prices for replacing the HT Leads, Spark Plugs, Dizzie Cap & Rotor on my 2 litre V6 Turbo (prices below) and am wondering if it is OK to NOT replace the Distributor Cap. It's a whopping GBP 70, and what with the rest of the parts, my budget runneth thin! 1/ HT Leads...

Hi, AlfaDiag's detected a P1173 fault on my 1.8TS. Reading through previous posts, this could be the MAF or lambda sensor. Does anyone have any more info on the code? I changed the MAF recently, albeit for a used one, and the car's running pretty well. Not 100% though. Maybe a brand new MAF...

Hi all. I thought it was about time I changed the rotor button on my twin carb Sprint. The new one I bought is a different shape on top and when I put it in the dizzy it points about 20 degrees different to the old rotor button. Is this going to affect the timing? Its a marelli distributor and...

I have an interesting problem. My Sud burns the dizzy rotors at an alarming rate, I've retarded the timing as far as possible, but the rotor still burns. I must add that the cams are autodelta, and the motor is quite hot (gasflowed heads, high compression etc. ) any ideas what the problem could...
