You can call me sad if you like but today is a big day in my life!!
Having wanted an Alfa all my life, today, 1 week-ish after getting my GT, i got my first proper, fully qualified, at speed, Alfa-wave!!
Passing Bournemouth airport, i flashed and waved a lovely black 156 (i think) with the big...
My 156 1.6 Sportwagon is due it's 72k service which would normally involve timing belt change. However, the belt was changed at 35,500 miles when a variator was being replaced.
I'm assuming that it should be good up to 100k, and that I therefore can leave it this time and cut down on the cost...

Sunday 16th May: East Riding Alfa Day at Fort Paull near Hull
Thought I'd mention this as, not only is it happening in 'ULL (and I missed it last year  not my fault though ), but 'ull has a P&O ferry terminal!!
So perhaps some of our continental friends would be interested. :)
I am thinking of wandering over to Fort Paull, near Hull on 11 May for this AROC do. anyone else going?.
Never been to an Alfa day before, not sure what to expect. taking the family as well so it could be good, or a complete disaster, if you know what I mean. (Dad are we there yet? whinge whinge)
