Good day guys. I had a audio shop replace the stock Blaupunkt radio with a Sony MEX 4050 BT last week. I haven't had any issues yet, apart from the steering wheel volume/skip/src/mute not functional any more. But that is because they did not have a unit to translate the commands so that the...

Guys rev counter has been reading low then flicks to reading properly after a few seconds on engine start, other times reads just fine, this is since I did the ECU reset, maybe not related. Also done the thottle reset a couple of times to see if it's related, nothing changed there...

Hi, this is my first post. I am looking to buy a 166 which I am having inspected by Gerry Campbell of TI autos in Dublin. My only query is- the car's revcounter needle jumps randomly from 0 to full scale all over the place- Can anybody advise on how serious this is and on how to repair it...
  10. Alfa 155
Just bought a 155 ts with full sportpack which I'm using to hillclimb in. Need to wire in the autometer rev counter and shift light, but the instructions only really cover ordinary coil ignition. It says for electronic just connect to the rev counter wire coming out of the ecu. does anybody...

Every so often my rev-counter decides to jump to 3000rpm and stay there regardless of revs. A quick but strong smack to the binnacle usually convinces it to resume its normal duties. I think there must be a break or loose connection in the circuit somewhere inside. Has anyone else had this and...

We can shake hands. Most of the time (6 out of 7 trips) the behaviour of my rev counter is the same and on some trips it works properly. So far it looks total random when he decides to work or not.
