Hello guys, this question is about a battery issue and I have done quite a bit of research already but couldn't find a case like mine. I recently acquired a nice 159 1.9 JTDm and had a faulty battery. We replaced it and the new one was dead in a few days. The parasitic draw is going up to around...

Hi all, my 2012 mito QV drivers seat started to crack after 2 months of ownership by me (bought at 2 years and 14000 miles) then it turned into a 2 cm split! It's on the side of the base cushion and is very noticeable upon opening the door, took it to my local stealer ( Johnsons of Solihull)who...

Evening gents! So I have had the usual troubles with my MAF. Flat spot, not very impressive rev, and for about six months an issue with sudden loss of power and delayed acceleration. This has happened more frequently lately. Diagnostics pointed me towards a faulty sensor, so I replaced it with...

Loads of possible solutions are mentioned on AO etc but for us, we've finally had a definite answer:cool: The new garage I have found use an...

At last my rough idle is resolved. Turned out it was a split in the pipe leading from the air filter case. Amazing what an effect this had. The only problem I have now got is that after revving the car, it sits at approx 1400 rpm and slowly goes down to approx 900rpm. So not totally...

It seems there is a brown fuse in a housing on top of the battery that is part of the ABS system, although it doesn't look like a standard fuse - it is a flat metallic plate with the brown fuse in the middle held down by two screws. Cost £1.12 to replace and 'Bob is your Marley' I have ABS...

Hi, I posted here a few weeks about some codes I had showing. As it happens they were 1177 and 1178 (misreported by me at the time). From researches on alfa 156 forum here I discovered they were long term fuel trim alarms most likely relating to the maf. I bought a Chinese code reader on...
