Just carried out my first DIY repair. Here's a quick breakdown-
Part - parcel shelf retaining clip, offside - cost £1.07 inc. vat.
Operation - remove broken clip and replace with new.
Time - about 14 seconds.
Might try something more involved next, a bulb perhaps.
Had this problem about 4 months ago. Selespeed shifts from 2 to N or 5. Was fixed after 3 months of messing about with dealer. Now it is back with a vengance!
Has ne1 else had this problem?
This time i've noticed the green indicator on the battery has disappeared showing the battery is not...
I gave my 147 to the dealer to fix the dash creaks i had from the area behind the instruments panel.
They will remove the whole dash and stick soft materials everywhere they can. Fingers crossed!
I hope they dont get it worse, i must admit i am a bit worried about it. eek!
Wish me luck...
Just heard my 156 which was involved in quite a hard front end ding may be repaired and not written off. The repair will apparently cost a whopping £6000.
I am a little worried whether the repairs will be like new and whether it will heavily affect the resale value.
Further to this, is it...
This morning on the way to work I was forced to swerve in order to avoid a muppet driving a Golf, unfortunately my 17" Sele's briefly ran along the kerb resulting in damage the paint on the rims of the alloys..
Anyone know if these can be repaired (resprayed) ??
