For those who are interested I've now had the Remus axle back system fitted. Straight forward fit: stock off, Remus on in under an hour. Exhaust fitters said it was nice quality, manufactured well and easy job (couple of clamps). Sounds like it should have from factory imho now. Deeper tone and...

Hi guys! I will be taking off my Remus exhaust from my car this Friday and I will put it up for sale. Probably on Ebay uk. I have the remus backbox, connecting tube fitted with 2 high performance straight through stainless steel silencers that greatly reduce loud sound but do not effect...

Been reading through some threads on s/s exhaust replacements. Got some information but nothing conclusive. I want to replace the whole system on my 2.0 TS, cat back. I have got the choice down to either a Ragazzon pipe with group N intermediate or Remus 65 full system. Does anybody on here...

Hi guys, Looks like I'll have to get a new mid muffler and section. They don't have originals here but can replicate them apparently. So far listening to youtube videos I love the sound of the Remus 2/3 and also Sebring sounds nice. OMG/Ansa are others. Remus is my fav so far but not sure...

Hi, all, I've recently purchased a complete Remus cat back exhaust for our 2002 147TS 2l (with mid. silencer, not the straight-through race tube). However, my GF is a bit concerned about the extra exhaust noise. My mechanic and the seller had assured me that the noise at idle will not be too...

i recently bought a Remus backbox off ebay. it was cheap, though delivery was expensive because it came from the UK to Australia. overall, it was a good price, but not cheap enough to 'return' if there's an issue. unfortunately, the single picture in the ad did not highlight what i think are...

When I first joined this site and it had a shop, there was a Remus back box for a 164 for sale which I always had my eye on. Now I need a new back box, I can't seem to find one anywhere. Is there a way to get one through this site or would Alfa Owner know where I could get one?
  12. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
My 147 has a Remus rear muffler and I've removed the big centre muffler, but the exhaust is still very quiet. The only factory muffler left is the little one just before the rear muffler. That wouldn't make much difference would it?
  13. Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
looking at getting a new exhaust for my GTV TS.... From what i've heard Larini is the way to go, only problem is nobody here in Australia has heard of it and all recommend remus as it is distributed here, unlike larini. Just wondering if you guys think it would be worth getting a larini exhaust...

For a 2.0 147, The only one on alfa owner is the 102mm round one. I'm missing the sound from the remus I had on my GTV :( Cheers Rich

Well got a Remus backbox fitted (single oval) at the weekend. Looks and fits just great. The noise is more bassier on the idle and really sounds nice 4000 plus. I got it fitted by a guy in Wickford for £20, he specialises in servicing and tweaking Scoobies, though hearing the customer who was...

Decided to go ahead with an exhaust change for my 1.8, just dont know which one yet! Im not going for a whole exhaust system just the rear box. Rung Elite and they can do a Remus Rear box (single oval) fitted for £238. Angeltuning offer either ITG at £234.94 or Supersprint one for £328.94...

Attached are pics of my Remus Exhaust finally fitted. Its a little twisted at the mo, needs a slightly longer rubber on the right hand mount but I can live with that for a while. Total cost including fitting £200 on the dot :) At idle its got a nice rumble to it. At speed its no more louder...
