Since I know a lot of guys and girls on Alfaowner cast lustful glances at cheap Quattroportes but are put off by the possible maintenance issues, here are my thoughts, being I own both a 166 and Qporte plus two 156 v6 before that. 2004 Quattroporte Duo Select. Ive had this car for a few weeks...

Ive been following the prices on these cars for some time, and I have found one being specialed from a dealer at 10K under its list price. The weekly payments would be so little its a joke, the car has done 95 kms, japanese import and described as pristine in all areas, plus is available with a...

Hi, I've been offered one of these in silver with 39,000 miles and full dealer history for £12000. It's a 1 owner 2004 car and I've known the owner for years and trust him. It's immaculate with no issues and i reckon it's probably £4000 less than the market value as he want it to "go to a good...

So here's one for the crowd here that has an interest in these two models. Which one (or neither) would you opt for and why? Love both. Driven both. The Granturismo feels and looks more special, if not as practical.

Just having a look on autotrader and it seems previous gen quattroportes are now selling from £15k! And if you want a low-mileage (c. 40k miles) then it is about £18k. This seems like a lot of car for the money. Would it be madness to go for one? Also, I don't think this bodes well for the...

Got a 3.8l V8 Bi-turbo kicking out 390kw and 650 torque and will send the QP to 0-100km/h in 4.7s.. This for a car that weighs 1900kgs :wow: So it begins that the bi-turbos start hitting FIAT cars.. Lets hope smaller bi-turbo's make their way to AR

In AutoExpress this week A bit "New Mazda" at the front, very "Audi A8" from the rear and a bit too "Lexus" in profile. But yes I would like one if I had any money.
  10. General Motoring Discussion
I'm considering an 05 / 06 plate QP at the moment as a viable alternative to the 159 Ti 3.2 I'm currently lusting after. They are going for c£30k so not dissimilar to the V6 159Ti and I bet the MPG will be in a simlar ball park too. I guess there are specialist that can cater for servicing...
