Will the suspension from a grande punto fit on a mito? Theoretically they are the same chassis. The suspension in regard are BC coilovers for a grande punto. Can anyone confirm before i pull the trigger?
Does anyone know if it is possible to fit springs from a punto evo to a mito? I suspect the punto would have softer springs, so for those wanting a more comfortable ride, this might be an option. As the cars are on the same platform I guess fiat kept the mechanics quite similar.

I cant believe I am needing to decide between these cars. Let me explain - I am going to be living in the Isle Of Man for a year and needing a car for the island - Want to leave my Alfa at home as I will be flying back at weekends quite a lot.
I am after a low tax car, looking for a tidy...
Has anyone done this before and is it straight fitment or will I have to use wobble bolts and the like? I currently have the QV 17's as mine is a 2010 and love the abarth rim.
Anybody know if it will hopefully be a straight fit?
I was following the tutorial on the Fiat forums for glow plug diagnosis / replacement and for that you have to remove the glow plug heater relay box. When removing I think I pulled a plug connector off of a socket but I cannot see where it should plug back in! It's the wiring harness that...
Got my @ss handed to me by a Abarth 500 on yesterday..
I saw it fly past me and I gave chase. Stuck around till about 180kmh and from there on the A500 just opened gaps on the Punto.
Bigger badder brother had no chance to catch the lesser powered smaller brother.
Was a grey Abarth 500 with...

Is the heat soak.
What is it with this car and heat soak. Never experienced this with any of my other cars.
Is the intercooler not big enough? Does it not get enough air onto the intercooler to keep it cold?
Any way to fix this other than MP's method?
I hope this isn't considered too off-topic, but I thought Alfa and Fiat owners share a bit of a common interest and might have owned both brands.
There generally seems to be a lack of info on these cars locally, and I've struggled through UK forums too. I've got a Punto HGT which...
Ok so they have the same engine.. Similar power outputs, Abarth a little stronger. And they have different turbo's fitted. And I am assuming they have the same gearbox.
Are these cars mapped differently tho? From standstill to about 160kmh the Punto is quicker than my sister's MiTo QV but after...
The holiday hire heap was a 1.2 Punto, in black.
I'm sure sales folk the length of the land will be banging on to mug punters about;
Stall/start and the great fuel savings
Massive capacity and spacious comfort
Mind numbing economy
.....and the reality?
It's a wheezy heap...
