I noticed the front of my projector light lenses are covered in fingerprints?presumably from some Italian assembly worker ?. You can only see it when they are on but it's a real mess. Anyone know if you can take the light assemblies apart?
  2. Alfa Giulia
Hi all, I hit a pothole the other day, no damage to the wheels but my left projector light now seems to be pointing at the stars and doesn't adjust with the headlight levelling, it is being serviced today, not by Alfa (company car, don't ask) I have asked them to have a look, but suspect they...
  3. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Morning all, I wondered if anyone else had attempted a projector HID conversion on their halogen 156 headlamp units? An aquaintence of mine got a lighting specialist to convert his and the Youtube vids on the topic look very fiddly but reasonably straightforward. Any feedback welcome. :classic:
  4. Alfa Giulia
Hi Just wondered if anyone had got hold of this accessory and got them fitted? If so what's the verdict? Thanks
  5. Alfa Giulia
Anybody got these. They look really cool on the accessories bit of configurator, good value at £31.00 too. Better than £44.00 for an Ice scraper anyway!
  6. Alfa Giulia
Has anyone ordered this accessory, and for those that have, did you successfully have them fitted? Are they any good? They've been an option on the UK configurator since as long as I can remember, however I have been told today that they are not available in the UK and never will be.

Has anyone fitted these themselves? Dealer is advising that they 'an aftermarket accessory that will need fitting', but shown under accessories on the AR website? They cost £100 just to buy, so is the dealer going to supply and fit...

Hi all Wondered if anyone had experience of firms carrying out the projector style conversions to standard GT headlights? Have looked back through some old posts but there's nothing too current - looking for recommendations of companies with actual experience Thanks
  9. Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
Ok, we all know that the dipped beam on the GTV leaves a lot to be desired. Many owners complain that the beam pattern doesn't project far enough! So many owners sort very expensive and time consuming solution's. These include illegal 100w H3 bulbs, hid conversions and even sticking their head...

Hello all "Alfisti! I am about to get new headlights for my 156 -97. I have concidered to go for the projector ones in "R8 style with LED DRL`s", see pictures. My question is, do any have any experience with the different brands (Depo/Sonar/TYC etc), and/or are they all just the same, made in...
  11. Alfa 159, Brera & Spider
Right so I am starting to find that the 159's Headlights leave a little to be desired.. So I am going to embark on the option of Retro fitting Xenon projectors to the 159. Yes I know the self leveling wont actually work, may also fit the WasherJets too so it looks OEM from initial observation...

  14. Alfa GTA
As above, For Sale: Original Equipment xenon 156 headlights in excellent condition. I've tested them and they work fine. They come with all the bulbs and the right ballast packs. They're not GTA'd, they're standard 156 lights, I can take them apart and paint them if required but I won't be...
  15. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
The standard lights of an Alfa GT, are pretty poor - let's be honest. First upgrade is changing your bulbs for high performance ones. If that's not good enough, then a HID kit is fitted. And the ultimate headlight upgrade is fitting mini projector lamps! I fitted mine this weekend, and heres a...

Ok, so I have on delivery a pair of Morimoto D2S projectors, two canbus free 35w ac ballasts, wiring harness and bulb wires with the plan on upgrading my alfa gt headlights. I am fully aware that the d2s shaft diameter is wider than the h1 minis which are intended to relate directly into the...

I am considering upgrading my 2005 Alfa 156 headlights to projector lamps...having seen a video on Youtube that shows how to do it. This is after putting up with the renowned poor lights in successive Alfa 156s. I have currently got Nightbreaker bulbs in, which are 'adequate', but probably...
  18. Alfa Giulietta
Guys, I've seen people on here fitting these and I wasn't ok with the procedure, removing door cards, drilling holes into the door card, trim panels etc, so I invented a new solution, and if at any point you want to reverse what you've done all you have to do is buy and replace puddle lights...
  19. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Greetings fellow alfa owners :) My headlights were worn out, did alittle research for the best replacement. I finally found a set of projector headlights with angel eyes retrofitted in a black gta housing. Test setup: My god those baddies changed the car ! The rings will be connected to...

I posted these pics in my 147 progress thread but I'm so proud of my dad for finding and fitting these I felt it was worth its own thread :D How cool is this? (They started off as bog standard 147 headlights) IMG_7397 by chris147gta, on Flickr IMG_7401 by chris147gta, on Flickr IMG_7403...
