My wife has a 307 and we are having huge problems with this. Hopefully someone here knows more about them and can help.
It appears to be in a limp home mode - max speed around 40mph, won't rev higher than 4k and feels very down on power. Engine management light is not on and if I connect a...
Frig me are they quick!
Had one in front of me at the lights earlier heading toward The Mall, and he gunned it, so I thought I'd go for it too and show him what speed really was, only to discover that although he wasn't gaining any ground on me, I couldn't get past him.
To be fair if we...
I rather like this modern take on the small coupé. A major departure for Peugeot and all the better for it. This is the first Peugeot I have seen since the 205 1.9 GTi that actually makes me actually feel a slight stir of desire!
Hi there, have had Alfa 156 1.6 2001 for nearly a year now. Cambelt, variator, waterpump, tensioners, upper wishbones, front drop links, rear brake pads- all of theese has been replaced. :) still arb bushes needs doin, but it seems a bit of a job to do it.
I have ( my missis ) an Peugeot 307...
Now, I thought I would share my thoughts on a little runabout I have been given to drive for a couple of weeks while my company car is being repaired.
I could tell you it is a cracking piece of automotive design.
I could say it's engine sings it's way to the redline.
I could say that the...
I found this on ebay earlier, what do you all reckon?
Could do with lowering IMO.
My Dad bought this:
Very nice car indeed. I know the looks aren't to everyones taste but I like it. The colour suits the car well and it's very well specced.
Here is my review of the 2007 407 Hdi Auto that i rented for 1 week and is due back on Tuesday.
The 407 is not the worse looking car on the road by far. I am getting used to the wide open smiling mouth at the front of the car but at the end of the day it's no Alfa but for a french car it...
I just had one of these as a hire car today. Unfortunately I cant choose which car I use, I just get one in a certain class as this was for business use.
Despite its fairly mean looks from the front, the car is pretty rubbish to drive. First of all there is the twitchy steering on uneven road...
A long shot I know...
Girlfriend has a 307 which is falling apart, the most annoying thing is the climate control panel not lighting up. Is there a bulb that can be replaced somewhere or is it all part of a fibre optic loom??
Todays press in Italy (and Italiaspeed and Auto News Europe) are full of stories of a merger between PSA Citroen and Fiat Group Automobiles. They reckon it makes commercial sense. Typically no one will make any comments as of yet...
Longish story ... one of my neighbours is having a tree cut down today, in the process of grinding the stump a stop has flown into the rear screen on one of the other neighbours 106 smashing it into 1000 bits ... but now the car won't start ...
First thought was petrol? yes it's got a full...
i'm gonna keep zipped on this...maybe i'm missing something, but my guy feel is its design department went to lunch in 1988, and never came back.
What do you guys think of the last twenty years of Pug design?
Two things, first I had a call frorm Alfa yesterday asking if my last service went Ok and was I happy with the Dealer I replied that I was more than happy with things and was thinking how improved things are. Secondly I hear from my Daughter that her partners 306 has had a recall because of the...
Lisa (My fiancee) is having her 20th birthday on November 2nd, and it's christmas the month after that. So I was thinking about getting her Peugeot 206 GTI as a present. She has a mate with, I think, a 106 1.6 and LOVES it, so I was thinking this would blow her mind away.
The exact car...
..... Black XBox-360 branded one being driven
by an archetypal 70 year old Frenchman
this morning. (Gitanes fag hanging from lower lip.)
Did make me laugh!
It is without a doubt, the most stupid looking car I've ever seen, but when one passed me today, it dawn on me what it is; it's just a Peugeot MPV, but with the entire middle section taken out; the back end and front end have been held together with the sliding doors from an 806.
It must be the...
We've had delivery today of the new 207CC at the Peugeot dealership where I work, and I have to say it doesn't look bad. It's silver with a two-tone interior consisting of dark grey and dull red colours Haven't driven it yet but when I do I'll let you know:)
