Thinking about getting a non-standard plate to disguise the age of the car. Has anybody got a GTV plate they are thinking of selling? I know that you an buy them from DVLA but asking just in case...

Hey all, Just saw the perfect private plate for my GTV - trying to decide if it's worth the money or whether to spend the same money actually on the car :lol: e.g. sports cat, brake upgrade etc. What are your views on private registrations - are they cool or give the wrong impression?? Chris

have just seen the number plate D3CKV for sale which i could easily alter the font to say Decky for £500 including the registration + transfer fee. ive always thought they were a bit naff but good god i am so tempted to buy this. am i sad if i get it? :confused:

Prompted by the blue GT I saw today: V6 AGT There's also a red sportwagon I see most days in Westbourne in Bournemouth which I think is H16LFA Both pretty :cool: So what other Alfa personalised plates have you seen?

A thread in the General forum got me thinking...what personalised plates have others opted for for their 147's, 156's etc. As I mentioned in the other post, I put 'SXY 147' on my 147 a couple of months back - personalised plates are relatively cheap here, approx NZD$480. Plates are limited to 6...
