Took the 166 in for its MoT yesterday - which it passed, with a couple of advisories. One of which was that the nearside ball joint boot is damaged... which is on the lower arm that was replaced no more than a month ago... Now - I bought this part new (an expensive OEM item) intending to fit...

Guys, Good news to share ! My 916 TS Spider passed its MOT today with only an advisory on the front exhaust starting leaking. I'll look to replace that bit it as its still the original exhaust from new and car is a 2002 phase 2, so its done its job well. Can anybody tell me what the OEM code...

Another ticket for another year. Only 1 advisory - rubber beginning to perish on O/S front lower ball. Then the inspector drove it past the front of the building and it made me smile - sad or proud -? :D

Not sure why Alfas get such bad press. Never had a problem with either of my Alfas going for an MOT. True there was a couple of advisories, but given the car is 13 years old that's not bad.

just MOTed my TS 146. no advisories. and only with the center spark plugs connected. apparently no issues on power or emissions???!!! would be interesting to make some dyno with all spark plugs connected vs only center ones.
