So I've had my 3.2 V6 GT since November and she's just sailed through her MOT on the first go, woo hoo! Not bad for 82k miles on the clock.
Since we are all stuck in quarantine hell, I'm thinking of planning out what to do with her and need some advice.
Here's my rough plans:
My GTV has a little paint bubling in a bit of a tricky place.
What's the best course of action here? Is it possible to fix without removing the rear screen? As far as I understand that is a big job that requires a lot of the interior stripped and the glass will not be re-usable, can anyone...
Hi All, been away for ages. My better half had to work in another city with our little one for some time, with far worse winter conditions than my Bella is capable of with its Koni sport kit. Drove a Xantia Hydractive II for more than a year, with Bella resting in the garage. Brilliant car the...
Dear Alfisti friends!
I have recently acquired a Giulia with 19 inch veloce rims (grey anthracite) and the previous owner had made some significant scratches on the rims when hitting the curbs :( I was wondering if anyone can advise me a color code/reference from MOTIP which I could buy, so I...
Has anyone had experience of the ' Color n Drive - Exact match OEM paint repair kit ' ?.
Advert talks a good job, or is there another that you all use as standard from experience....advice appreciated, Tar - Jim.
Hey guys - long time watcher, first time poster!
Finally got my hands on a low(ish) milage Brera S which has clearly had a re-spray at some point, which would be fine - had they not touched the exhaust tips...
Yes, as the title suggests, the previous owner had powder-coated the tips and I'd...
Proud new owner of a 2014 red Sportiva with Cloverleaf alloys and black leather interior, first Alfa I've owned and really enjoying it - I love that there aren't many around.
Unfortunately the Sportiva badges' cloverleafs have almost completely faded from green, and rather than replace...
Unique car or unique use of little sister's paint set?
So my car went in for new car detailing (Ceramic coating) today and the detailer sent me this pic. I knew it would happen but not this quickly!
He mentioned that because of where it is that a quick swipe with a touch up pen should suffice, without trying to fill it in and get too clever...
Hope everyone is having a great day?! :)
Just a quick query. I guess this maybe common to most older Breras but noticed I have a few spots on the window frames where the black paint has flaked away to reveal the alloy metal below.
Anyone else had this on their Breras? How did you...
To those in the know, is there a way of removing slight scratches off Matt paint?
Can you T-cut Matt paint or not?
I have some light scratches I’ve noticed while cleaning her today around the driver side bumper, as if someone has reversed into a hedge - Is there a way of polishing these out?
Is there a way to find out the paint code if the boot sticker is missing? Alternatively, is it possible to tell Nero Oceano from a different kind of black from a photo? Tree branch fell on my bonnet and trying to find a replacement in the right colour to keep costs down
Not so much a Giulia-specific question as one about the current state of the art in automotive paint technology.
I'm considering retiring my beloved 159 and replacing it with a Giulia. I quite like Alfa Red as a colour but am concerned about fading, especially in strong Australian sunlight...
Just in case any of you are thinking of treating your Alfa to a new lick of paint, I would like to give a shout out for https://www.alphapaintsltd.co.uk/ up in South Shields as they've just recently finished off my GTA. They've done a great job at a very agreeable price.
They're no stranger to...
