Hi Guys, I am new in owning an Alfa Romeo and have purchased an older 2002 147 selespeed that seemed to be in great condition. After a week of driving with no issues, the car suddenly could not jump from Neutral to 1st gear. Sometimes Nuetruel would jump to 2nd gear up to 4th and then back...

Looking to add paddles to my auto Alfa, have found paddles for a decent price but struggling on the shift gate. If anyone has one to sell, would be much appreciated!

I’m quite happy with the gearbox and the decisions it makes. What am I missing by leaving it to do all the work instead of using those lovely metal devices?

Hi. Wodering if anyone managed to do a paddles retrofit

Going to the dealer tomorrow to spec a Giulia. I have limited funds so it’s a Super with a few extras. I’m wondering what others think of the flappy paddles at £275 extra, are they worth it? Also can’t believe Alfa’s logic, I wanted to spec the cold weather option @£550 but if you do you have to...

Like these..... I've been helping test out the paddles in the picture - not quite ready to release yet but only a matter of days now I should think. I have no financial connection with the developer by the way . Briefly they are complete replacement units, unscrew the existing silly little...

Hi guys, I have a couple of questions about fitting steering wheel with paddles on 159. I have read the topic for the retrofit but I didn`t quite get some things. I have found a car in a scrapyard with a steering wheel with paddles. Where can I find the shift gate module that activates the...

I have just ordered a New Giulietta Veloce but was surprised to find that during the configuration there was no option to change the plastic paddles to Aluminium ones. Does anyone know of anyone who makes an after market set and how easy they are to change? Counting the days until delivery.

Hi All, I've exhausted my searching capabilities trying to find steering paddle replacements of the tacky plastic one's in my 159 and was wondering if anyone has done this and where they managed to get their parts from? I've come across one ones for earlier model Alfa's but they are quite long...

I've seen a post on here explaining how to fix paddles with a bit of tape. I want to have a go but now I can't find the link

Another Selespeed question! Just bought another 147 and the paddles don't work. Tried another steering wheel and clockspring with no luck. Horn works OK. Nothing comes up on Multi ECU scan as a "request" like the lever. The lever works fine. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks

Hi I'm a 916 Spider V6 owner (3 in fact, 1 of which is a spares car!)….. but I'm looking for a newer 946 JTDM or V6 for commuting I've seen cars advertised as Semi Automatic - can someone explain what this means? Can you manually select gears? is this using the gear leaver or are there...

Hello everyone. I've just put a deposit down on (what I hope to be) a great deal on a TCT Veloce - 13.5k on a 62 plate with 7200 miles on the clock. Not getting it until Dec 2nd and these next two weeks are going to drag by. The only thing with the spec is that the previous owner didn't plump...

Hi all, I was wanting to switch out the paddles on the steering wheel with new ones as the current ones are pretty worn out. I was just curious if it was difficult or involved? Or is it just as simple and obvious? Let me know if anyone has done it or to give me a quick guide as to how to do...

Hi all, I'm getting new ones and was curious if they are tough to install?? These are the gear -/+ located on your steering wheel for gear shifting during drive. I was curious if they are relatively easy to install or do I have to put it on a hoist, etc?? Only replacing because the + paddle...

Hmm... (pre-facelift 156 selespeed) This is a new one; There are no reported faults in the selespeed of a friend's car, or abnormalities in settings, and using the knob is fine but paddles have a strange behavior; They refuse to change gears at higher than ~2600 rpm I keep testing stuff...

I have recently bought a 147 Selespeed Lusso 02 reg which at the time of buying was not driveable due to the selespeed pump not priming. After a quick metering of the relay contacts it was found to be energising but not making the contact, filed the carbon splatter off it and all going well...
