  1. Alfa Giulia
Has anyone tried to add paddle shifters to a 2017 Giulia? Because I tried but I'm pretty sure I didn't have the right obd scanner. I bought the Bluetooth obdlink mx and after I set the paddles to present, I ran a proxy alignment and it failed. It timed out on quite a view of the modules. I since...

I don't know if anybody else is interested in replacing the TCT Paddles for larger ones, but there is a company in Italy that offer a replacement version .. eBay Store here but I have asked if they have a Carbon Fiber version. They are going to be making one next month which I believe will be a...

Hi All, I'm looking to source a steering wheel with paddle shifters to convert my qtronic to paddle shift. The shift gate seems I will have to get via the dealer/a supplier as finding it online is proving difficult. I'm also in need of a steering wheel with the paddles on. Are these limited...

Hi guys. I'm looking for some paddle shifter extensions to fit the paddles in my 159 Ti. http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=778682&thumb=1 Any ideas who sells them? Thanks heaps.

I might be barking up the wrong tree but I came across 2 conversions for sportronic cars and I quite fancy this myself as I enjoy using the manual shift option. I'm assuming that moving the gear stick simply operates a switch indicating change up or down. I have contacted the two folk who have...

Hi all. I'm looking at a 2.5 v6 that has a cg motorsports 6 paddle sprung clutch. I know unsprung are not fun for normal driving, but does anyone have experience of the 6 paddle sprung on the v6?
  8. General Alfa Discussion
I'm interested in any of your experiences with using this for the first time coming from a manual transmission. Is it fairly easy to get used to using it? Looks like any of the new Giuliettas I'm interested in only have this now.
  9. Alfa Giulietta
Hi all, first post here, did a search but came up with nothing. I am considering installing a new (post-facelift) steering wheel on my 2012 Giulietta. But my current car does not have the gear paddle on the steering wheel, is it possible to use the gear paddle after installing the new steering...

My Sprint Speciale 170ma just gets better as the odometer turns!.... No problems at all so far! Just one little gripe!.... Why did they manufacture the steering wheel paddle shifters so bloody small and set in too far!... You need fingers like E.T to operate them without getting cramp...

Hmm... (pre-facelift 156 selespeed) This is a new one; There are no reported faults in the selespeed of a friend's car, or abnormalities in settings, and using the knob is fine but paddles have a strange behavior; They refuse to change gears at higher than ~2600 rpm I keep testing stuff...

I have a facelift 156 Selespeed with the paddle shifts. I've owned the car for 18 months now and the paddles have worked perfectly. However, recently I was aware of that hot water smell and the windscreen had a small fog patch in the centre just above the information cowl. I then left the car...

Greetings all, Has anyone out there had success in changing the paddle shifters following failure? I have a new set ready to go following the failure of the "+"shifter. No problems undoing the paddle from the steering wheel however I cannot see any easy way to undo and reconnect the wire...

Hi All, I have just bought a Selespeed GT and love it but when I got it the paddles didn't work and on closer investigation they didn't click and the switches inside them had broken, as there was no metal bits to short out on the pcb. I bought a replacement steering wheel and swapped the old...

Hi all I have a 2001/51 156 sportwagon with the selespeed box. I love the car to bits and am really getting on with how the box works and really enjoy driving it, I do however find the position of the buttons for the gear change a little uncomfortable. I have seen posts on here with reference...
  18. 4C & 4C Spider
For the 4C, that is. . I'd read this in one of the stories somewhere. Hoping this isn't correct or that Alfa will change their minds. Is this of concern to you in your thoughts about this car ? Personally I still like the old "stick and clutch", but haven't had much experience with paddle...
