Every year we drive past the Technik Museum at Sinsheim on the A6. We called in for a visit one year and it was well worth the stop. Anyway, to the point......this year they are opening Halle 3 in September and Alfa Romeo is the opening exhibition. You can read about it here. I know a good few...
Hi ladies and gents.
I asked on the Facebook page but no one has come across it yet.
Since Friday, my boot has been opening randomly. Whenever it wants, almost every time the engine starts, either by me pressing the button or start/stop. As I walk away from the vehicle after locking it sometimes...
After receiving a new center console (climate unit) I noticed my rear hatch opens by itself, which unlocks the car and I have to close it and triple check before ever leaving the car. It's some sort of an electronical issue ,which given it's Italian electronics, makes me worried. He did a proxy...
I have problmes with the boot opens when I least expect it. Even when I am out of the car with the keys in my hand (not touching any buttons!).
I see some people having problems whith the cabling to the boot door. Could be something?
Any other sugestions or anyone having the same problem.
I've just bought my first Alfa - an X reg GTV for £1600. Mechanically the car seems sound, and it has a lot of service history, including the cambelts being done recently. The car does need some TLC though. There is quite a bit of lacquer peel, the driver's mirror is loose, the driver's...
When I close the driver side window it starts closing and just as it gets to the top it opens 3/4 way down. Why would this be? It doesn't happen everytime but at least once a day. The passenger side window also did this twice withing the last week.
166 2.0TS, 2001. I've been through as many posts on this subject as I could find, but did not come up with a final solution.
Key fob button and glove box release button will not open the boot lid. The LED on the key fob lights up when the button is pressed. I exposed the loom within the...
This 159 I've just received
2 keys, one has odd behavoir, The lock button works, unlock does not. If you press the boot release it unlocks then opens all windows as if the unlock button is being held down..
Anyone seen this? Low battery or programming error?
I have been having so much fun locking and unlocking my 2002 facelift 156 of late.
It seems that the car has a mind of its own. Sometimes it will lock or unlock as normal and other times it will open the boot instead which is hilarious. It quite often refuses to do anything.
Nightmare last night at 4 am my boot lid popped open, setting the alarm off on the car! I guess it must be down to the severe cold snap we are having. Its never happened before so I guess the relay must be faulty or something.
Anyone got any ideas if the fuse for the boot is seperate or does it...
My GTV has decided to open the boot all by itself in the middle of the night, setting off the alarm. It doesn't do it all the time, which is weird & why it does it in the early hours of the morning waking the neighbourhood & not in the day, I just don't know??? Its very annoying. I am having to...
Yet again my car has handed me a lemon :(
How does one fix the handle which opens the hood???
(It is positioned below the glove compartment)
It has come loose and I am struggling to attach it.
I'm guessing it's attached to a cable???
Any help will be appreciated:confused:

I have a sun roof in my Alfa 147, 53 plate.
Problem I have encountered is when you open it or tilt it it does not remember the position its supposed to be in and adjusts itself. Eventually when I do close it I have to put it in the open position.
What would cause this fault?
I knew Alfa is something of an exotic on cold Russian shores, but it was a surpise to find out today via italiaspeed that until recently,Alfa Romeo didn't have an official dealer in the whole country!
There's loads of talk about Alfa returning to the States, but this is a real missed...
