I've been looking into the various tuning - mapping options for the JTD engine and put together the table below.
I've loved my 147 JTDm-140 for the last year. As we grow up () things change and the 147 wasn't suitable for the trip to scouts with a handful of kids, so I've had to bite the...

Hi guys, I've been talking to Peter James from superchip,
He has been very helpful with my inquiries and questions regarding mapping the ecu of the QV.
He has told me that if I can get 3 or more people, he can reduce the price by $200 to $1049.
What do you guys think of this price?
i'm having my car remapped shortly (170hp diesel).
my question is does the egr valve have to be removed completely from the car or can it just be mapped out and left in place ie making it redundant ?
i hope my question makes sense
I've been following all kinds of threads related to all different ways of getting more power from the TBI engine (not the QV).
I've tried two different chips:
*the expensive Racechip.

Both trials brought no success. In both cases it seems that the chips...

I am considering buying some software and cables to enable me to access the ECU on my ph1 Spider 2.0 TS.
I am doing this because I was thinking that I could tinker with it and "re map" to get some more power. However, although there are lots of posts about where to buy the cables and...
Hi all. I happened to come across this forum on Google today. After reading one particular 155 Q4 owner's unfortunate story at the hands of a tuner. I thought it would be a good idea to post a little about myself - not a mention do a bit of blatant self-promotion
I own a Fiat Coupe 16V...
I have absolutely no connection with any car dealers, garages or tuning specialists.
After years of German mid range exec types (320d A4 TDI's), decided to go for a bit of flair and better value for money.
Sourced a 2008 159 SW from an independent specialist Alfa dealer in North London...
Loving the forum and also loving my car.......
Ive got to a stage where i would like to get a little bit more out of the car eg mapping.
My question is which route do i take?
Ive been on eBay and there seems to be a 'magic' box that you fit onto the car to give you MORE power and...
My MOT is due at the end of the month. No doubt it will be painful, but should I get off lightly I would quite like to treat the GT JTDm to a re-map.
Any advice on getting this done in this area? Or is travel required?
