  1. Alfa 155
Hey guys, Anyone fitted an LSD to a 155 V6? I can only seem to find a Quaife for TS models and a KAAZ for V6. However, the KAAZ costs 1402 eur! It seems a bit over the top, any suggestions...
  2. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a GT v6 but looking for one with a slip dif (Q2 or Quaife) fitted. I've seen a car at a garage for sale and they don't have any record of mechanical upgrades, just new alloys and stereo. Seeing as most owners of these cars invest in the sensible upgrades, I'm...
  3. Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
Removed the old diff and crownwheel now refitting the latter to the new Quaife. The GTV repair instructions Vol. 1 refers to a torque setting of 81-90Nm for the bolts but calls them "self locking". I can't see anything unusual about them. Should they be used with thread lock? No sign of any on...
  4. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
This has happened a couple of times in the past month after doing a 200 mile trip.Next morning i go into car the display is gone, after driving for a few miles its starts to flicker and eventually goes back to normal - everything else is fine and it doesn't do it on shorter trips, anyone else had...
  5. South Africa
So I was digging for an LSD for the Unot Turbo (Gertie said it can fit the TS box). And I came across this. This is from a Supra and was apparently fitted to a Uno as well. Anybody EVER see this type of LSD before? It really does look too good to be true kind of setup.
  6. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
So, does anyone have any information or experience with these? Is it even possible or desirable to fit one to a 2.0 Selespeed? (The part no. is MF-TRS-05A147)

  9. The Classic Alfa Romeos
Finally had my diagnosis confirmed that the cause of my knocking is to do with my diff/axle. All good so far except that without stripping it down he won't know what the problem is but coupled with potential new parts plus labour it's not going to be cheap. So a probably cheaper alternative is...
  10. The Classic Alfa Romeos
Does anyone know if I drop the diff sump pan if i can see the numbers stamped on the Cw&P? - also can a LSD Diff be stripped without using special tools that are mentioned in the Alfa manuals, any guides anywhere? thanks

Hi All Some may know i used to be involved in world class drag racing , this being the case i know a man who knows a man who was introduced to me who makes Limited Slip Diff's to a very high standard. A few were hand made for a track race team and a drag team and because none failed 1-2 were...

  14. Tuning & Upgrades
Hi all. Just before Christmas Autolusso upgraded my car with Quaife LSD differential and it turned out to be a dream Xmas present :) So far it has proven to be a fantastic little thing, makes cornering faster, you can apply the power earlier than you would expect and the car goes exactly where...

  16. Alfa Giulietta
Hi all, its been a while since I've posted but.... With all the discussion about remaps, spider boxes and such has anyone out there fitted a Quaife LSD to their Giulietta? If so, does it really make much of a difference to the handling? Just did the trip from Sydney to Port Macquarie this...

  18. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
After much research and deliberation I have just bought my first Alfa - a GT with Sport button, advertised and showing photos as a Q2 version. After getting it home I realised there were some discrepancies, i.e. no Q2 badge on the boot and no red stitching on the leather (I kniow I should have...
  19. The Classic Alfa Romeos
As some of you may know, I have a Mk 2 1750 GTV that will soon be undergoing restoration. I'd thought about getting an LSD fitted but the advice from Ian Ellis was "see how you get on without it, we can always fit one later". Which I think is good advice but I do feel that if I'm going to get...
  20. Alfa MiTo
Hi all, After having my car for a week to sort out my C365 gearbox Autolusso have also fitted my cloverleaf with a Quaife LSD (after a little uncertainty from me and a little persuasiveness from Ned!). I wasn't going to have it fitted initially but as it turned out the gearbox didn't cost as...
