  1. Alfa Giulietta
Hi to you all. I was looking everywhere in the web to find any document stating where the rev limiter kicks in at giulietta 1.4 multiair, but i couldnt find anything. Does anybody have found a table showing the rpms for rev limiter in each gear for manual 170 multi G? If so i’d like to have a...

Car seems to rev past 8K rpm and only hits the limiter way past that, around 3 or 4 o'clock where the gauge isn't even numbered. Can anyone tell me what's going on
  3. Alfa Giulietta
Hello everyone, I am new to tuning and I am seeking for advice. I would like to install Rev Limiter and Blow off Valve on my Giulietta 2.0 JTDm 170 bhp 2010, could you advice me where can I get one online and one that will fit my car? Also Is there any cons of using above?

I had a 2014 Giuletta 170 TCT multiair. If I would enter, in manual mode, into the red RPM zone, the rev limiter would restrict rotational speed. I sold her an bought a brand new 2017 and to my surprise and disappointment instead of the old behavior it just up-shifts. Up-shifts by herself! I...
  5. Alfa 159, Brera & 946 Spider
Hi all, I have recently removed my car doors and unscrewed the door side of the limiter. They have been pushed back into the body. Does any one have any tips to extend them back out so I am able to reattach them back onto the door?

I live in the UAE and own a 2015 Gulietta QV (auto). In the UK (which is where i assume the majority of member on this site live) is there a speed warning? When you get over a certain speed does the dashboard light up with a number and continuously play a chime noise every 5 seconds until you...

  8. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
My 2003 156 1.6 doesn't have a typical rev limiter, when it hits 7k it just revs steady rather than bounce. Is this normal on the 1.6 ts because ive heard 1.8 and 2.0 ts car with "bouncey" limiters.

Good morning The GT has a rev. limiter set just below 6,000 rpm, then the ecu violently kicks in. This happens in first, second, third gear. Now my question is, when I drive in sixth gear close to top speed, the revs are at 5,000-5,500, can I push it past 6,000 or will the limiter also kick in...
  10. Alfa 164 & 166
Hi all, please your help is required again. My 24v 164 seems to have a very low rev limiter setting at just over 6K2, is this correct? Ages ago I had a 12v 164 and I remember that it reved well hard, I was younger then! Any way am I expecting to much from my old lady, cos it is going pretty...

Good morning all. has anyone had experience of the rev limiter in the MA engine? This morning I was waiting ages at a junction and I finally got fed up so jumped into a small gap. In "N" mode, when I eventually got grip I looked down at the rev guage and I noticed that it was sitting on 6500...

The question is about Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD 8V 115hp, EDC15C7. The same ECU is used in some early Alfas models, so hope I'll not angry some people. I made a log on 4th gear and noticed something I can't explain to myself. "Time" "Engine speed" "Total fuel quantity" "Intake air quantity" "Boost...
  13. Alfa 33, Sud & Sprint
I'm in the middle of changing a rear wheel cylinder on my '89 1.7 sprint. I looked through the Haynes manual and it says I should bleed the pressure limiter valve above the rear axel first. Had a look under there today and I can't see a bleed nipple on it anywhere? Did the later sprints change...

Brera 2.4 JTDM Hit the limiter twice today, 2nd time got warning 'Have Engine Checked' and engine management light now on. Anybody any ideas?
  15. General Alfa Discussion
Folks, I hate rev limiters with a passion, but my new (to me) 147 TS Lusso 2 litre has a good one. It seems to work in two stages and the soft stage gives plenty of time to enjoy the motor. A previous car, Saab 900 ng turbo, had a vile limiter which just cut out brutally and I was always...

Hello, does anyone know if torque limiter on adress 1CBD4A actually do anything? I lowered mine and it just didn't care. Anyone had similar experience? Or did it work for you? Thanks!
  18. Alfa GTA
As we know, this sets in quite early on the GTAs, I think at 6,800. This does frustrate me a tad. Been thinking about getting a remap to raise the limiter a bit. Has anyone got any experiences of raising this? Did you realise more more power? Does the GTA give power > 6.8k revs? Cheers
  19. Introduce Yourself
Hi all, I have a 2000 166 3.0l V6 and cherish it. Although I have to admit to finding it's 'sad' face it's least appealing feature but the facelifted models are hard to find. However, that's another story.. My engine has taken to cutting out at 5,000 rpm when pulling through the gears (it's...
