  4. Lane assist button?

    Alfa Giulia
On the QV demo I had at Christmas there was a button down by the light switch that allowed you to turn off the lane assist / lane departure function. The farty noise is only cool for so long and on attempting to turn it off I notice my new car does not have the button. Where have they moved it to?

So there I was, driving my "new" 159 up from Exeter to Aberdeenshire on Saturday evening. About 10pm, the road between Gretna and Lockerbie somewhere. Three lanes, not another car in sight. About -2 degrees, wide open road. I'm tootling up the inside lane at about 80-85, and go to pass an Audi...

  13. Lane change indicator function

    Alfa Giulietta
I love my Giulietta and am regularly praising the thought that has gone into so many slick features. When I first tried the lane change function, I thought it was really cool to just nudge the direction indicator stalk and get 5 flashes. Now it drives me mad. I am perpetually activating it...

  15. 3 Flash Lane Changing Indicators

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
On most modern vehicles, you get a facility that allows you to flick the indicator stalk, giving you 3 or 4 flashes for changing lanes, without having to fully engaging the indicator funtion. Have to confess, albeit a lazy function, I do find this useful. Was wondering if any of you boffins...
