I've just spotted Ken's 166 up for sale again. I went to look at it when it was on eBay and, I'm sad to say, it was in a bit of a sorry state, cosmetically. Mechanically it was sound. It had undergone a very poor respray at some point. Don't be fooled by the photographs - the camera always lies...

Hello guys, hope your all having a great weekend! Shame we cant have more!
OK, vibration on the car 1.9 JTDm GT when in a high gear and accelerating. From what I have read it seems to be the OS drive shaft issue!
1. Is it easy to remove the drive shaft on a GT? - Any guides?
2. Do I replace...
My 164 has got lots of rust around the rear wheel arches. I am thinking of getting a 166, not sure whether to get f/l or not because unlike the 156 [where in my opinion the f/l looks far better] I quite like the pre f/l 166's. Also not sure whether to get a twinnie or 3.0 manual. [No offence to...
I need some advice from our recently departed 166 guru. (Departed to 159 forum :( )
My 166 was fitted with new clutch and flywheel some 8k ago at the start of the summer. When i got it back things were much improved with a lighter pedal and easier to find gear changes.
Strangely though the...

Hi All,
I am new to an Alfa and have found the experience very rewarding so far! I have a GT and have come across a problem...as anticipated it is a minor niggle.
My problem is the auto fuel cap/cover. It won't work electronically and I have checked in the boot and have tried to manually...
Well I have finally done it! New rear pads, discs, Powerflex bushes and new bottom hub bearings (Thanks to super Ken!) Took about five hours to do, not including pressing the old bushes out and putting the new bushes and bearings in. That took about 4 hours.
Total costs, Powerflex kit...
I'm fairly new to this (and Alfa ownership), but it seems to me this is quite a blokey forum - although it's not always easy to tell :) . So I was wondering how many of us (women with car taste ;) ) are there?
