When trying to connect an iphone xr to my mito with cable no connection is made.
The phone registers the connection as is able to charge, and stops playing music as if connection to media player is made, but "media player" doesnt appear in the display on the radio - only AUX and radio.
Hi folks, I have a 2011 G (owner from new) and still in love with it today as much as I was when I first drove it off the forecourt! My question relates to the blue&me system - and basically how [email protected] it is! I love everything about the car, except the B&Me system - utter rubbish (n)
We just today purchased an Alfa Guiletta (2012). We set up the phone for BT fine and then plugged a USB cable in for the music.
We use Spotify so tried this and although the USB port charges the iPhone (8) we get no audio. I tried another iPhone (XR) and it works as soon as you plug...
I’m looking at the adapters on EBay and there seems to be a plethora of prices and options. Some say that they don’t handle iPhone 6.
I’ve got a 2009 TI with the standard blue and me. How do I know what I need?
Hey everyone my my iPhones have always worked over USB in my 2012 G with blue&me but in the last 2 weeks my iphone xs has stopped being recognised by the system (although it still charges). Does anyone else have this problem? What is the solution? Thanks.
I have just successfully updated the blue and me sw to version 5.5, and then 5.6 using usb stick.
Phone and car talk to each other fine via bluetooth, but if I plug the phone in via usb cable the radio does not read it. The 'media' source is greyed out in the music menu.

New to this place but it seems cool. Now, I have an 2011 Giulietta and its just starting to have a couple of issues... the third brake light has lost a few LED's and its now it seems to be ever so dimly lit when on (in day light its hard to see). I suspect it is a LED unit issue...
Just acquired a 159 - pics and progress thread to follow, but I would like to know if there is any way of playing music through spotify on an iPhone via the blue&me bluetooth connection that is in the car without faffing with cables?
We got the daughter a HD projector for crimbo, so she could watch Netflix etc.
But when trying to plug her Iphone in via the USB on it, it doesnt recognise it.
So we need to do it through the HDMI port.
Leads seems available but it appears with searches you cant watch Netflix?
As the title suggests, I have a 2011 Giulietta QV. I have an iPhone SE (the one just before an iPhone 6).
The phone connects up fine via Bluetooth to the car. I'd like to play some of the tunes off the phone but nothing happens if you plug into the USB socket in the glove box.
I have a '11 G without the aux input, and thus only the USB that does not work directly with iPhone 6 and up.
For music I used the very expensive Blue & Me adapter that needs some tricks in order to work but it did its job up until now... it no longer works...

I can't get the iPhone 8 to pair, any ideas ? preferably without Apple bashing as that wont help ;0)
I have read the other posts on IOS 11 update problems but they seem to be after the phone and car have paired.
I don't use it for music just hands free calls.

Anybody after one? Since I killed my 159 in March, :dead: I've cleared out some bits and bobs.
Also got the Metal Allen key oil plug jobbie if anyone wants it. Bought if from here ages ago to discover mine had already had the fix.
Got a few of the little LED sidelights - I'll bag the lot up...
I have recently just bought my first Alfa - 159 (58 plate). I am having trouble figuring out how to play music through Blue&me.
In particular, I would like to play music from my iPhone. I understand that there are compatibility issues with this, so I was not at all surprised that...

It would be interesting to see if it makes a difference for you i-phone users :)
