Since about a week ago, anyone i talk to when i'm in the car has commented that there's some interference when i talk. They've said it's not crackly but almost like distortion when you turn the volume up too loud on cheap speakers. Given it's all built in. Does anyone know the best method for...

As I'm trying to revert my 2002 156 bact original parts, I believe Alfa used Bose systems. The previous owner seemed to have made several low-grade mods to the car. Are these Bose systems still available or will I have to stick with my cheapo Pioneer radio/CD player? (Apologies if this is in...

Would appreciate some recommendations please. Currently have a Pioneer CD/radio, purchased from Halfords nearly a year ago. It only cost about £75.00 (I think). The sound quality is okay but isn't great, as you would expect from a entry-level-type of player. My budget will be around £150...

Okay, maybe I'm going mad but how's this for an idea? We all love the sound of the V6, but let's face it, it sounds better to people behind us that when we're in the driving seat. With so many aftermarket head units having an AUX input, why not put a small microphone in the rear bumper and...

For me first thing I do after belting up and firing up is switch to engine oil temp, not really fussed about mpg or stuff like that I wish I could set it so I didn't have to set it to that every time I started the car. What do you have yours set to?

Can anyone recommend a decent, cheap, portable DVD player to stick in the back of my 156? There seem to be a few around which you can plug into the cigarette lighter, and either stick the screen on the back of one of the front headrests, or hanging between the 2 front seats. Anyone actually got...

Anyone got a DAB tuner for their car? I can upgrade my Kenwood mini-disk head unit to DAB for around 400 quid? It includes a new car aerial as the standard one won't do? Sounds like a lot of wonga for a better reception to listen to Cheeky Girls on Radio 1.

This is a result of a thread in model forum re 166 autochangers. I realise you can get a mini fm sender that plugs into the ipod and, therefore, can transmit directly to the radio. Has anyone any experience of using this or an ipod in-car in any other fashion?
