I use the free version of Multiecuscan (MES) but would like to get a hand held tool to keep in the car. Can anyone recommend one that works with Alfa's that they have actually used ? Would people also recommend its worth buying the registered version of MES for 50 euros, or do you think that...

My car has been listed as status 20, that is to say, built, since Jan 20th but has failed to make further progress. Two days ago I received the following email from my dealer :- "I have spoken with vehicle supply this morning who have confirmed that your Quadrifoglio and another Quadrifoglio...

I think the 4C will be mighty around that track.. nice swooping bends! Speed limit around there currently is 70kmh  Drove around it in a G7 SW (with 7 speed DSG). Which by the way is a far better gearbox than the TCT in the 4C :cheese:

Hi guys I was washing my car today and I noticed something sharp pushing up against the roof. Upon closer inspection, I saw 8 staples pushing up against the outer lining of the roof. Any idea why these are there!? I removed them because they were ripping the roof inside out.

Potential daft question, but bear with me: I will be doing the shocks/springs all round soon. I have the Alfa workshop manual which I have been furiously perusing. So far I am quite chuffed as I have already learnt I wont have to bugger about with track-rod-ends like on most cars - well done...

I have been looking at good quality hand held scanners and diagnostic hand helds for the Alfa Romeo range with a OBD2 & EOBD interface 16 Pin connection. Any recomendations for hand held units for a 2005/55 Diesel 156. I am aware of Alfdiag etc, but do not have the paitence for it.

Please answer the question honestly. I have kept the poll private to prevent 'flaming'.

  12. General Alfa Discussion
 It seems that Broughton Hall may have outlived it's role as a NAD venue, with folks liking the event to "standing in a field, looking at some cars" etc. :D Has anybody got any suggestions for a different venue?......obviously theres a bit more to it than merely suggesting...
