I have Eibach sport kit springs (-25mm) and TRW sport pack shocks for sale if anyone is interested..
a question to the electronic experts around here. :lick:
Had a look at the 2016 Giulietta Facelift and was suprised Alfa changed the BC display from a red to a black/white one.
Would this also be possible doing myself with the Board Computer of the GT/147?
Presumably some electronically...
I'm not sure if something quite this bone counts as 'technical assistance' but here goes anyway - having recently gone from a 156 to a GT and therefore now the proud owner of a cupholder, I have tried to use it to actually hold a cup of coffee which has then resulted in the cup pressing the skip...
Does your GT/147 have a problem with the hatch unlocking the first time you open the drivers door after the car's been locked? Though the switch on the dash doesn't work but the remote still does? weird ey?
Do one or two of your windows not work, or go in one direction but not the other? whilst...
Ive lowered 2-3 of my cars in the past, and feel its time to lower the GT.
Has anyone done a guide on this?
I changed the upper wishbone about a year ago, and that went pretty well.
I dont need to remove hubs or driveshafts do i to remove the suspension leg do i?
I cant find any info.
As the title suggests, are they the same, and if so anyone in the Loughborough/Leicestershire or Nott's/Derby area that doesn't mind lending me it for 5 minutes to remove the three off my car.
Story is, I had a tyre changed with a part worn due to a tear down to the thread (pee'd off...
I have a set of these that i bought for the GT but never got round to fitting as the Bosch pair I had fitted wore so well.
Alfa Romeo GT 2003 - 2005 : Valeo Compact Revolution R55 Retrofit Flat Windscreen Wiper Blade & Valeo Compact Revolution R41 Retrofit Flat Windscreen Wiper Blade
As you can see from the picture above these are the units that hold the bulbs; Note that both in my GT were mounted with the spring (see the right of the unit nearest to you in the picture) to the right and the hinge to the left (see the right of the rear unit in the picture) as you look at the...
Alfa tool required (so the book says) to release the rear struts from the body. That I did without a tool, however the top bearing on the spring is a problem. Can't get a spanner in there. Thought about a box spanner perhaps?
See picture 1 (Item 2b) for the tool Alfa suggest and picture 2 & 3 of...
I'v found a connection hidden under a rubber grip mat and I was wondering what it's for.
I didn't have one like this on my 147 so it might be something special, I don't got a clue!
It's located under the rubber grip, see the pic!
After a couple of years of not really bothering about it, I've finally got round to looking into getting music from an external source into my 147.
I'm trying to keep everything looking as original as possible, so this means keeping the original head unit, or AN original head unit, which leads...
Im thinking of trying to sort my dash rattles and creaks coming from the main screen vent, does anyone know if it is clipped or welded, its not good either way but Id like to remove it to sort the creaking and tighten the bulkhead bolts as it sounds like there loose too
A drawing will...
Recently I took out the cluster to give the plastic a good clean due to it having lots of small black spots. Unfortunately I couldn't make any difference and wasn't sure if Alfa sell this part separately or whether they would charge me for the whole unit.
Can anyone please advise as...
I'm relatively new to this site & forum, and was mainly drawn to it during my long quest to upgrade to a decent bluetooth & MP3 solution whilst also maintaining the factory look of the standard head unit!
I was going to ask a few questions on those threads, but I've just noticed that the...
After some chavvy wee ba$tard had a go at trying my car and breaking the door handle my heart sank. However tonight I observed one possible cause and something that should perhaps be done periodically. At the end that is hinged (ie the opposite end to the key slot) is a small hinge which...
i bought a GT/147 6 speed gear knob off Ebay a few days ago, came today!! Took less than 1 minute to remove old 1 & fit new 1  All it took was a quick twist & pull, came off with 1st attempt then new 1 just slotted straight onto spline of gear stick
here's a couple of pics...
