  1. Great engine v great chassis

    General Motoring Discussion
Some cars are a mixed bag. So here’s a conundrum. Would you rather have: - a car with a fabulous engine, but a so-so chassis Or... - a car with a fabulous chassis, but a so-so engine? (Assuming for a sec you’re not planning to mod either.) Which path would you take?

  4. Great work by ARUK again

    General Alfa Discussion
At Goodwood, I requested a Stelvio brochure be sent to me, as they didn't have any to hand out on the stand. This morning I receive an email, asking if I have received my brochure? No I haven't, so I click No, and it takes me to a new Web page where you can click on which brochure you want to...

  7. A great 7 years

    Alfa 159, Brera & 946 Spider
It is with sadness that I will soon be selling my 159 Sportwagon. I bought her 1st September 2010 aged 2 and a half- and she was my first Alfa. The first 5 MOTs cost me a pair of wipers in total and the services a single spring in the same time. She is now on 138,000 miles and will be 10 in...
  8. Great to be back in a Q4 Brera

    Alfa 159, Brera & 946 Spider
Just bought another v6 Brera from an Alfa specialist in Accrington. It's metallic grey with red leather and cream trim, supplied and maintained by Mangoletsi so may well have belonged to someone on here. I missed the previous one as soon as I'd part exchanged it for a Giulietta QV two years...

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
John Surtees died aged 83 on Friday. The only man ever to win the World Championship on two wheels and four.
