First timer on here! loving my Giullietta. I have a 2010 1.8 cloverleaf model (Manual Tans, right hand drive UK)) that I've owned for just over a year, it's absolute dream to drive (just have to shut my eyes when i look at the fuel consumption!).
The only problem I'm struggling with...
I have Brought a Giullietta 2.0JTDM 140bhp but have suffered random cutting out mainly when reducing speed but also once whist in fast lane of motorway braking down to 50mph, It will cut out and most of the time it started back up again but recently it was running a bit rough cut...
Just wondering if anyone has fitted a towbar to a Giullietta??
I’m fitting one but not sure on the electrics....do I need to fit a bypass kit with a dedicated fused live? I only want to fit a 7 pin connector for a trailer.
Any help will be gratefully received....esp wiring diagrams ?
I saw a thread earlier in week about someone who had found a dealer who had said they could update uconnect 6.5 inch radio nav , has anybody actually had any successfull update that can tell me exactly what i need to tell dealer is available please

More looking for info as the car is booked into the dealer next week so I just wondered if anyone else noticed similar issues. So I can ask the right questions.
Dash has a rattle from the from (by the windscreen vents) almost sounds like someone clicking their fingernails but only...
New to the forum, old lurker but new poster
I have a question. I have purchased and serviced my Giulietta at Gary Green Motors in 2013. of course, they no longer exist, which is a pity as i have only had great experiences there.
I will be forced to use Sandown Alfa Romeo. From...
Hi people, I'm new here.
Been driving my G for about 6 months now and it's due its 21k service.
I'm fed up of false information from search engines so I feel you folk will be the most trust worthy people to ask.
What I need, is a little list of things I should be having done in the service...
Hi, picking up my first ever Alfa on Monday, 2011 Giullietta 170bhp diesel and can't wait!
Can anyone let me know if i will be able to play music from my iphone 5 straight from phone or do i need to buy some sort of connection, they look expensive on the official Alfa site? Thanks in advance
I have just taken delivery of the latest model Giulietta 1.4TCT petrol and noticed a 'H' in the mileometer box on the instrument panel. Does anyone know what this means as I can't find it in the handbook.
Almost four weeks of Giullietta Ownership for me and Mrs S.
She is driving a Giullieta 1.4 TB Multiair Lusso, I have a Giulietta 2.0litre JTDM-2 Veloce.
Both cars are well specd, however Mrs S has Auto Headlights, auto dimming rear view mirror, and I don't. I do have half leather seats with...
Well it's time to bite the bullet and with the Astra's heating having packed up its been like driving a mobile freezer. So I went to the local car supermarket to have a look around. I'd seem a couple on the net that I quite fancied to test. Took out a 12 plate G in metallic red with only 3K on...
I know most People on an alfa forum will be biased towards the alfa brand but I have bought a GQV recently (still haven't collected) and looked at all of its competition in the last six months and to see a giulietta in the flesh it just looks so much more appealing their is just something extra...
Found that the tab contact had fallen off one side, resoldered it on, have 12v to earth both sides and in middle of grid, but suspect the rampage is not enough. Perhaps tab is not good enough contact, anyone had similar?
First up thanks to everyone who posts on the forum for helping decide on which variant of Giulietta to get (although cost and time ended up being the decisive factors). Enjoyed reading various threads but not being a car enthusiast, at least until now, more technical issues continue to go above...
I’m in the process of looking for a new car and the Giullietta is at the front of my list so far.
The guy in the showroom seemed to suggest that there was a lot of hassle when it came to connecting iphones via usb. As such the salesman suggested using a USB pendrive with music on.
