The car revs to 5000 + when air flow meter is disconnected and immobile.
When I drive it with the with air flow meter disconnected it revs to 3000 and lacks power.
With the airflow meter connected it revs to 3000 immobile and idem when disconnected while driven...

Hi all, my 159 has had EGR and DPF deleted and has been remapped by Gus at Alfatune. Recently it's been running a bit sluggish up to 2.5k revs so I've ran it a couple of times (each for a couple of days) with the MAF unplugged and it definitely runs better without it, a couple of questions...

The fault is only recorded, the ECU received a very low signal, as it is not present it will clear but will come back after a day or so.
Righty, project is coming along slowly and research is continuing abound.
so, it looks like I need bigger injectors. I don't want to run a separate ecu and injector, I want to man up the ones on board and get them running right.
I have questions that people in the know may be able to help on...
It would appear that the Air Flow Meter on my 164 qv has a dead spot that kicks in at 2500rpm, creating the mother of all stutters and misfires :shock:
