Hi there , just done a quite a trip , Wroclaw in Poland to Gdansk ( hotel had a view to die for and there were kids taking selfies by the car !!) then back to the UK . Before the trip l was really thinking of getting rid of the GTA but now , wow .......got stopped (yes really ) in Holland...

On 2.0 TS GTV its MOT emissions failure :-( MOT garage suggested its the lambda sensor (sounds familiar from other car's I've had) I could get one one from local motor factor for £65 or eBay £30. Are these probably the same or very similar with the motor factor charging more for handling etc...

I know lots of people have had this issue. But basically the infocenter displays its figures incorrectly by a factor of 1.6 or miscalculating mph to kmph. I assume that the infocenter is just the same the world over with a default setting of kmph. At some point its set to divide the information...

Just wanted to say hello and say how nice it is to have an Alfa again after years of being taxi driver for the kids, no more renault scenics, peugeot estates etc

Alfa 156 2.0 JTS from 2004 Little hesitation between 2000-3000 revs on steady ride. Connected to ECU with Unidiag and everything seems normal without any fault codes exept Bank1 and Bank 2 DTV factors that are different. What is the DTV factor and what is effecting it ???

In order to address the balance of "Alfa Car-ma" on this site, I thought I'd let you all know that I'm still thoroughly enjoying her as I near the 1k mark after my first month :) I've received lots of positive comments from family, friends, colleagues and neighbours over the 159's...

Hi, I'd just like to say this forum is a good laugh and quite a refreshing change from the BMW motorcycle club site, those people are incredibly boring. I think I'll let my BMW club membership lapse and join the AROC instead. I can't really define what's so special about Alfas or Italian cars...

What is the the 156's drag factor and how does it compare to other simalar cars. Oh and Nem, drag as in wind resistance - not as in dressing up - just before we go off topic wink

Just bought my first Alfa last week, 1996 146 Ti. Gotta say it's the dog's ! Love that induction roar ! Went from a Rover 216 Coupe (~115 BHP) to 150, loads more drivable andmuch more style. Whats the score with performance enhancement for the 146 Ti ? Any advice welcome.......
