Does anyone know a good Alfa specialist in Edinburgh.
I'd prefer a small independant outfit.
Have recently bought a 98 166 2.5 which is at 84,000 miles and needs a service.
Any opinions / recommendations greatfully recieved.
Was up at the new Western franchise this am for the first time. Very impressive, it is huge and the service bay is like an operating theatre with snap-on cabinets all over the place.
I asked if any 8c's were hidden upstairs and was told that one of the directors of Western has one on order and...

There's a garage that seems to specialise in Alfa's at the junction of Gorgie Road and robertson Avenue in Edinburgh that has a nice red Monte Carlo in the forecourt.
Passed it last Saturday evening on the way to meet friends. Looked in good condition.
Firstly, does anyone know of an Alfa friendly garage which do courtesy cars in Edinburgh? I will be working there from next week, and will drive up, then fly back and forth for weekends.
Secondly - the job will be to replace for forward transverse arms. I am assured that these never need...
anyone used Edward Labinjoh in Edinburgh?
I pick up my 2000 156 2.0 TS with 38k today, so I'm looking to bite the bullet and get the cambelt, tensioners, variator etc done. (I still 3yr /36K is pathetically ridiculous for a modern car - but from reading some of the horror storys here I'm not...
The 159 was ordered nearly 3 weeks ago and am counting the days! Hopefully the 12 weeks promise turns out to be accurate (or sooner would be even better!) Coming in solid black with red leather and as many gadgets and gizmos as I could afford/get from Arnold Clark for free! (not getting the GPS...
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of Alfa servicing in Edinburgh? I used the dealer (Arnold Clark) for my new 147 but having purchased a 1999 156 I was wondering if there are any recommended specialist garages around that may be more reasonably priced (and more knowledgeable)
