Anyone interested in a decat downpipe for an Alfa 156 2.4 JTD 20v? They will only fit this model. These bolt between the turbocharger and the second part of the downpipe and remove the pre-cat. Benefits will be cooler turbo operation, and of course the prospect of faster spooling...
Does anybody have any pictures of GTV V6 downpipes from underneath? PH2 and PH3 would be great as I have a PH3 and have changed to PH2 downpipes
I have had a search but cant find what I need.
So, I (finally) got my de cat manifolds and equal length downpipes installed.
Question is: Do mine sound as yours ?
Mine develop a heavy rasp / resonating sound from about 2000 RPM upwards that seems to die off at about 4000 RPM.
Is that normal ?
I had thought that the rasp sound would not come...
Due to high shipping costs to New Zealand making cheap parts expensive I have decided to have a go at making an alternative to the GTA intake pipe for the JTS.
Firstly I had to remove the resonator box to find out the diameter of pipe I would require. The air box requires a pipe with a...
This just came on my facebook news feed and brought a big smile to my face!!!

I wonder if anyone can help. I'm currently in the process of replacing the the front exhaust downpipes on my CF3 2002 156. This was due to the flexi leaking and being able to find a good condition replacement for cheap.
With regard the gaskets I will need to replace, I was planning...
Hey guys. I want to ask. Can I also fit the protective cover of the original downpipe on top of the ragazzon one? If that is the case then it would not be visible when someone opens the hood of the car, as the original is not also visible unless you take the cover off.
Anyone who knows please...
Hey guys I am sure that many G QV especially owners will be interested in some pics of someone that has installed the Supersprint downpipe on their car.
I want to know if it is a straight replacement of the original part, plug and play on the original exhaust and if anyone could share some pics...
i've just changed my downpipe with the pre-cats plus main cat. now it's blowing near the exhaust manifold and the downpipe join. i've heard about the rings that need to go in between but only can find them for the 156? are they the same for the 147 2.0 CF3?
my car has failed its MOT as the cat which is at the downpipe is knackered. I need to remove and fit a replacement.
i'm hoping i can do this job myself - is it easy enough to get access to and remove from its position with the engine in place?
I discovered recently that there was a cat on the turbo downpipe on the diesel 159s (1.9 and 2.4).
There are a couple of reasons I'd like to remove mine. By the way, my car already has the dpf removed and a remap.
1) I love the turbo whistle that my old Saab 9-3 Tid used to have...
As my downpipe is now blowing, but my downpipe does have a flexi bit, will this be a good replacement for my '99' TS:
what does no OBD mean, will it...
Hi folks, longtime lurker, infrequent poster.
My 156 2.0 TS exhaust has just started blowing from the flexi-section. Any recommendations on sourcing a reasonably-priced unit locally. Shipping from the UK looks like being an issue. Dealers seem to be quoting EU270!
Flexipipe on exhaust gone.I dont know whether to repair or replace??,Im aware that there are two types of downpipe with mini cats for my cf3 2001 2.0ts.What is the difference,is it number of studs at manifold.
does anyone have a standard downpipe for the 156 GTA? mine's been bottomed out at some point, theres a flat spot on the flexi section and i think theres a slight blow from there.
not patchable before the cat, so should be replaced.
