Is this cheap for a Q2 diff (part no. 55208952)? Something tells me they got crazy expensive at one time. With the Forum discount you can get one for £440 - Q2 Auto Slip Diff - 147 & GT (y)

Hi I have installed the quaife diff in my GT 3.2 I am experiencing a knock or sudden wheel spin, when I am full steering lock going forwards. Usually taking off from a parallel parking or during a U-turn. Is this just the LSD locking or did I fxck something up reassembling axles and...

My 2018 Quadrifoglio on 14500 miles is currently having it's diff replaced under warranty after I complained about droning/humming, clicking and bearing whine from the rear end. Is there anybody else on these forums with a 2018 car that has had a diff replaced?

Hello everyone, Basically, the previous owner claims that the car has had a Q2 fitted. I know that some people do it at roundabouts but without much experience with Q2 alfas I am not able to tell for sure. I also read about the "one wheel on grass" method but in order to tell once and for all I...

When i bought my 156 GTA a couple of weeks ago immediately installed a Quaife Diff. What's the best option when driving sporty on a curvy road? ASR off or on? Do they work together or do they counterwork? I now put the ASR off and i believe it drives better.

Hi guys. I am about to buy a Q2 diff of 147 150cv, even the seller has not extracted it from the gearbox. And before paying, I would like to know if someone of you has placed it in a 156 of 136cv and 5 speeds. I would like to know if it is necessary to modify something in the gearbox, I think...

Hi guys. I have a 156 2.4JTD of 136cv. And I would like to place a Q2 Diff. I know they are placed in 6 speed gearbox, but I have seen that one brings the FPT registration, and others that do not bring it. Anyone could tell me if both gearbox bring it, or is it only Q2 that has the inscription...

Hi All, I have a GT 3.2 V6 (well it is when all the many pieces are together). Fairly major resto / re-build underway which includes updating to a Quaife diff. Various threads on here are both an inspiration and a well-used reference. My query here is can anyone verify the...

Hi all I'm after a Q2 diff for my GT V6. My friendly Alfa specialist quoted £1350 fitted for a new one. Thats £800 + vat just for the diff. Anyone know where I might get a good used one or cheap new? Thanks

Hey all In the next few weeks I'll be re-booting both my CVs on my 2004 2.0 TS after discovering the inner on both sides has split through. I've got eLearn and have done the same job on another vehicle before. However, last time, I had to drain the diff before removing the CV. eLearn doesn't...

Can anyone tell me if any of the 2.5V6 156 with manual transmission came with a limited slip diff as standard? Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

My 3.0 156 is making a creaking sound when I turn the steering wheel ever since the diff was installed. It does it when the car is stationary and at low speeds so I'm guessing the diff itself isn't actually the cause, but it occurred at the same time that the diff (and 3.0 engine for that...

I'm after gears or a diff or a complete or a complete axle for a 105 with a 4.1 ratio. Not concerned if it is not a LSD

I'm about to pull the trigger and order a Q2 diff for the Spider V6. What do I need over and above the actual diff? So far I've got a pair of diff bearings, pair of diff seals and a pair of diff casing O rings. Have I missed anything?

So I may the in the position to order a Q2 diff for my V6 Spider in the next month or so. EB Spares seems to have the best price. My question is what do I need to order along with the actual diff to fit it? For example I know a seal set or two is required plus some bearings but I have no idea of...

Hello all I suspect that my diff bearings may be failed (strong vibration when left driveshaft goes up, on fast right turns or when going over bumps). Dont want to remove the entire gearbox for a rebuilt since everything else works ok. Is it possible to remove the diff, without taking the...

Hi All, on Friday night after a few illegal runs the GT decided to pop its diff. Now the confusing part is before I ran the last vehicle, I heard a sort of CV clunk on partial turn to the right. It did bother me and I did a few incline take offs and found that all was fine and there were no...
