After faffing about for ages, we've decided to trade in our Giulietta for a Giulia Veloce. Can't find anything in stock or even ex-demo in the colour and packs we want. So it might be a factory order, but we've been quoted up to 14 weeks. Does anyone have any insight into current real-life...
Well yet another issue on the 147 I have got constant current drain on the 70amp fuse rail of around 800-900 mA which of course is flattening the battery, does anyone have a electrical diagram showing the 70amp rail and what is powered from this rail?
just wondering if could be alternator...
Its about time to change my 1.4tb (155bhp) shocks. FSDs have been discontinued and the replacement to FSDs, Special Active, are not being made for the Mito. The Alfa equivalent from later model 135bhp Mitos will set me back £400 odd ish. Whats the current most comfortable option? Currently...
Hi All... anyone come across a dead battery with alternator working... finding fuse 3, cabin fan varying 600mA to 1A, and fuse 4, services 400mA, and driving lights draining power with ignition off. I realise the clock will take some.
I am just about ready to place an order for my new Giulia QV, but I am receiving conflicting information on the lead time. The dealer I intend to use is stating delivery should be towards the end of October, but a couple of other dealers have said late September with another stating quite...
I've had my 2009 2.4 159 TI for about 4 years now and it suffers from parasitic battery drain; the battery will drain dramatically when it's sat up with everything apparently off.
If left alone for more than a week, car will be in a depleted state, sometimes to the point where it won't start...
I'm not one for buying car mags these days, but I am travelling at the moment and grabbed the latest edition of the Top Gear magazine.
There is a very nice supplement called "Portfolio 2018" with lots of glossy pics of new and old cars. Amongst these is a Stelvio leading a charge of SUV's, a...
I'd like to check the current value of a GTA engine since I have one with big-end bearing failure. What would the current value be as is? 100000 miles and no other problems. What would it be worth if I get it up and running again?
Feels down on power, turbo doesn't whine anymore, no surge of power when it kicks in
Hello all. I've bought this car a year and a half ago, and it hasn't been that bad to me, except a few issues with it that I will start addressing this weekend (starting from tomorrow).
Info on car:
My wife's car has not survived its first 10 days holiday - it was completely dead on arrival.
Never had a problem before, recharged and now feels alright.
I measured the standby drain to be about 160 ma - isn't that a little high ?
How can I find what the correct figure is ? In comparison, my...
Was just looking at the current 0% deal on the Mito Progression TwinAir - the brochure indicates there's no immobiliser or alarm. They're standard on the next model up, but a £200 factory option for the Progression. Is this true? No security at all?
Posted on another thread so thought would make its own post
Current and final set up is really perfect for me
Hpr race manifolds - hpr downpipes - hpr racing twin cat section - wizard silenced centre section - wizard back box.
Just took the family out today and...
As title...Hoped to do a poll but cannae see how to do it.
With my current trials and tribulation my bubble hasn't burst yet but as it has deflated a wee bit it has caused me to ponder what is the straw that breaks a 166 in this day and age.
1)Timing Belt Due?
So, seriously toying with the idea of buying a new QV (Etna Black) on the current 0% deal which is on until end of September.
1) how sensitive is the finance (PCP) in terms of getting refused? Have heard a few say they've been turned down?
2) the deal says that cars have to...
First few weeks of 159 ownership and mpg was hoovering around mid 40's, which is good as its mixed driving (30% short journeys, 70% motorway blasts).
A couple of times over last week ive noticed the 'Current MPG' dash reading much, much lower than usual. ie. doing around 50mph in 5th...
Bernie Eclestone sold the F1 commercial rights for a fortune, and as part of the contract he still manages it. Now he need the new owners to make heaps more money and he changed F1 into a low budget economy run.
The drivers cannot race, because they will use to much fuel. The engine suppliers...
Hi, does anyone have a current discount code for the above, or can maybe direct me to where I can obtain a current, valid code please.
I have a number of suspension items that I want to buy, but any further money off their top prices would be great!
