    Well the old shed passed its MOT again today! One advisory "....rear number plate deteriorating..." (!). ...I ask you... (!) I told the tester I preferred it that way and he winked at me.... Felt like a complete git though, awakening it from its hibernation and driving it 300 miles on salty...

    Oh Yesssss! Just got a shiny new MOT today! Sailed through with one "advisory" - "OS CV joint gaiter deteriorated"! Well I should think so too! The rest of the damned car has "deteriorated" in the last 19 years and 240,000 miles! Might get to see the quarter million yet!

    Well, this could be it, the final nail in the coffin of my V6 156. I started her up today, she made a random noise with the fans, i turned her off and she continued to run for a few seconds.... I then started her up again..no problems. On returning to the car later in the day she wouldn'y start...
