I stupidly took my original head unit and multi-changer out of my car and THEN realised that I had left a friends (yes a friends..) CD's in the multichanger cassette. It's a clairon CDC634 I cant see a manual eject hole anywhere.... any ideas? I'd prefer not to rip the thing apart, it was...

Just completed the stereo upgrade complete with new door speakers, I've obviously removed the CD changer from the cubby hold and have left the lead in situ. Unfortunately I forgot to eject the CD's before completing this process, I can't be arsed to take the new stereo out and re-connect the old...

Hi! Does anyone have any idea what CD changer suits the Clarion PU9706A radio / cassette as factory fitted in the 164 (1994 - 97). The unit is marked "Clarion for Alfa Romeo" on the front. There is an 8 pin DIN lead on the back of it which would connect to the CD changer. Was looking for...

Hi, I'm pretty new to the site and I posted this a day or so ago but I think I put it in the wrong forum - apologies! I have a 2005 model 147 and intend replacing the standard radio/CD with a Clarion CZ509. Has anyone done something similar who could give me any tips/tricks to make the job...

Hi, I have a 2005 model 147 and intend replacing the standard radio/CD with a Clarion CZ509. Has anyone done something similar who could give me any tips/tricks to make the job easier? This model has Bluetooth & USB - the cables for which are at the back of the unit - so I somehow have to...

I am having a bit of a clearout and I have a Clarion 6 Disc CD changer that needs to go. The model number is CDC634, and it actually came from a Fiat coupe but it does work in the GTV as I have tried it. (not sure if it is exactly the same model as the GTV one though) It has a few scratches...

Hello All, Having recently posted a similar query re the compatability of Blaupunkt CD changers, I've just noticed that in the handbook for my 2004 156 SW phase 3 it shows a Clarion 10 disc CD changer for the 156 Sportwagon (and not the Blaupunkt 10 disc CD changer). I would therefore also...

Hi, I'm looking to replace the factory unit in my 159 with a Clarion NX509E, which doesn't come with built-in bluetooth. An accessory (BLT373) is basically a stand-alone unit (not integrated with the touch screen of the head unit). I'm wondering if I can utilise Blue&Me for taking & receiving...

I think the changer has a 13 pin lead which goes into the back of the head unit, does anybody have any suggestions as to which brands of stereo head unit will support the input from the 6 disc changer in the boot?

I'm useless at this stuff and apologise if the answer is already on here! All i want to know is what cables / adaptors etc I might need when i swap my original Alpine head unit for one of those fancy new clarion mp3 / SD card bluetooth stereos? I don't want to commit myself until i know if i...

Hi, My 2004 156 Sportwagon is fitted with a factory Clarion radio/cd plus an 6cd changer in the boot. I'd like to replace the cd changer with a solution that's capable of playing MP3's and/or WMA files. I'd rather not change the main unit in the dash to keep the controls on the steering wheel...

I own a 1996 GTV 2.0 TS which had installed a rubbish stereo. I have managed to find an original stereo from a GTV of the same time which is Clarion. As this is a radio cassette I obviously wanted to source a cd changer but does anyone know which one? Were all GTV's fitted with them from scratch...

 My clarion stereo (2001 156 SW) plays cd when engine is not running. When engine running it gives the error message. Haven't go round to having a look at the wiring as yet, wondering if anyone has had this problem/ rectified it. Cheers JDG
