Changed my Spark Plugs and fitted my new Magnecor KV85 HT leads... The sure look good ;) :D
I haven't tried the car yet (my brother's bike was behind the car...), but recon it must be running better, because thye former cables were shot and the plugs had aprox...
Has anyone changed the variator on their Twin Spark? I ask because having bought all the kit to do a full belt change from E B Spares (including the cam locking tools) I was feeling pretty pleased with my self for avoiding the massive prices that Alfa dealers charge.

okay the good news is that i regained the normal v6 acceleration
the bad is that when the clutch disc was worn out the clutch had a better feel
and bad news number two theres a whole in the exhaust mnifol d which ruined my alfa beautiful engine noise
other than the 2 days work to take the whole...

there was this silver 156 V6 with red momo 17'big ass wheels a few mods n the front nose but if u look under the hood a normal V6
look behinf the big ass rims / wheels u can find the biggest disc/caliper brake system i 've ever seen with like 6 groove...
Just had my 3rd year service which I was quoted a price of £285.
I phoned to check the progress and they said it will take a bit longer as the cambelt needed changing which would normally cost another £250, but is covered by the warranty :D , not only that, but the extra labour...

Once the wheel is off the only thing holding the disc onto the hub is two small fastening pins. Unfortunately, they appear to be made out of a rather soft alloy, and they just shear off.

As I remembered Rico had posted a while ago his user equalizer settings, I tried to use them for my 147 standard CD-player. Have to say I'm VERY IMPRESSED by the sound it produces now. These are the settings:
1st bar: +3
2nd bar: +1
3rd bar: -1
4th bar: -3
5th bar: -1
6th bar: +1

My car is a 1994 1.8litre 8 valve with Squadra Chip and free flow rear exhaust box. I fittes a K&N 57i kit when I first got the car. Convinced myself that it made a huge difference (better). Then I chipped the car etc...
Finally i did it. I changed the front speakers (myself) of my 147. Wow! I didnt expect the factory stereo to produce so realistic sound! I installed the VIFA P13WH woofers and the VIFA D26 neodymium tweeters with the appropriate crossovers of course. (visit http://www.d-s-t.com/ )
