Received news on Friday that Giulia Veloce is built and on its way. Is it usually about 2-3 week to pick up?
Gone for Alfa red, QV wheels, tan leather, yellow calipers and a red stop/start button from Ned at Autolusso. Hope it looks good, always had Alfas but never a brand new one so picking...
Some time ago, I asked about tow bars for my spider so I could tow a lightweight trailer with a dinghy. Well, after much thought and the possibility of bankruptcy, just buying the bar/electrics and having it fitted, I thought again.
I sold the GRP dinghy after finding out that it was quite...
i agreed to buy a 1969 Alfa Spyder boat tail Duetto & the vendor has just decided not to sell after having taken my deposit & agreeing a price - really annoying!
Does anyone know of a Boat Tail for sale in the Uk please?
Very many thanks
I'm looking for a boat tail spider 1967-1970 so if you are considering parting with your car please let me know.
If I'm able to be picky (!) my preference is for a 1750 Veloce in red but I will also consider a 1600 duetto or a 1300 junior.
I will take on a restoration project or one...

These were taken at Threave Castle in Dumfries and Galloway on the Sunday of the late May Bank Holiday weekend. Stunningly beautiful setting when the weather is like this and it has the advantage of being remote but only a mile walk from the car park. There are two bird hides at the castle and...
My 69 Boat Tail Spider is really difficult to start, Battery turns over ok, but without spraying a bit of petrol directly into the carbs it just wont have it. There is petrol in the float chambers etc. and it will run ok "ish" once going. When it does start there is a definate flat...
Just had the most awful drive home from work (closed early due to flooded road closures). Driving through Gloucestershire trying to avoid the road closures I had no option but to go through a village - Stoke Orchard for those local - where I had to get through approx half a mile of...
I am going to look at a 1969 Spider 1750 boat tail supposedly in superior condition and it is quite pricey for it's age.
Anyone any good advice on what to be on the lookout for on this model? Are spare parts still readily available?
Hi guys, need some advise here...
A few days ago, there was a flash flood/storm here and the road I was on turned into a river. Car finally died as I went through 2-3 foot water. 3 other Mercedes had the same fate. At one point, the car was floating as I could feel it rocking back and forth...
The Nemesis household needs a second car next spring and the GTV is too much £££'s. It would have to be the 3.2 V6 + facelift for me which = no change from £20k.
However, Mrs Nem will be the owner/operator of vehicle number 2. It doesn't need to be practical as we have the 5 door JTD coupe...
