Can anyone what difference I would expect to feel with a BMC CDA filter fitted to a 3.0 V6 GTV?
Does it make the engine note more tuneful? (considerable?), does it improve anything else?
Also where is the best price for one? :D
I have just ordered one of these filter kits and would like some information on fitting them, pictures of yours installed would be great..

Hello again, it seems that a garage called BMC in Aycliffe are highly regarded by members of this site. I've just tried finding their number on yell.com but it just returns someone in Spenny.
My question being... does anyone have their number handy?
Thanks in advance.
I'm looking at getting my spider re-mapped and installing a BMC CDA intake kit.
So far I've done my research and there's a few options for me which I hope you can share you opinions on:

At the end of this month i'm getting a remap done, they've offered me this BMC induction kit for only an extra £100 bargain, but the induction kits i have had before have usually impeaded my performance although these where pipercross's or K&N's induction kits.
What do you think go for it or not?
I have fitted the BMC CDA to my 2.0 GTV and i know it's not really important but it looks naff!!.You spend all that hard earned money you want to see it.The Carbon box is mounted pretty much in the same place as the original,so you have the engine on one side and a gangally old rubber hose on...

So i bought one of the above mentioned induction kits from Angle tuning. My original airbox screws bust off so i thought i would replace it with a CDA.
It makes a hell of a roar on throttle but the car has lost a load of power and to tell you the truth i am well pi$$ed off.
£190 is a lot to...
I know this subject is not really a new one ;) but I intend to replace by KN filter by a CDA SP 01 (I have a 156 GTA). I'm not specially gifted for mechanical works:lol: so I'd like to know if it's quite difficult to put it
is it ncessary to retry the front bumper ?
Fitted a BMC CDA today. Although I've always doubted they are that good, even though I know Sub uses them. I've used induction kits before and have done a lot of rolling road sessions etc.
Anyway, yes it did make a difference. Not at the bottom end, although the engine doesn't seem to have lost...
