Hello there, I'm thinking about changing the OEM filter with an aftermarket one for my Giulietta 1.4 MA.
Do I change it with BMC or Pipercross? I have read that dry filters are better but I don't know if they do dry filter or not.
If you have tried any of them please help me out.
I just heard the intake sound become bigger compare to the bmc air filter and slightly faster throttle response.
Did any owner here had change the stock air box to the bmc CDA / OTA air box? any comments?
it would be really great if you can provide the model / size you got!
Looked at previous threads about fitting a CDA I understand I can move the Maf to the end of the intake pipe (although maf diameter appears to be on the small side) but I guess may jubilee up?? then the original 90 elbow into the engine side of the CDA, some how mount secure it.
So my first...
I have just bought a BMC CDA kit for my GTV JTS ( every little helps, as they say...)
Has anyone here fitted this kit? Was it quick/straightforward? Any opinions/tips/hints - or even photos - would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t expect any jaw-dropping improvements, just a slightly less...
I have for sale my BMC filter which was briefly fitted to my GQV (recently sold). It is in as new condition and comes boxed. I am asking £30 collected from GL11 or £35 posted. I could even give you a hand with fitting if you come and collect.
I am shortly going to be removing my 15 month old Wizard stainless steel back box and BMC performance air filter from my Giulietta QV as I will be trading my car shortly. This is a great combo and has worked faultlessly on the car and sounds awesome. I am looking for £450 for the...
As it looks like I need new airbox I was thiniking about the BMC CDA kit. My main concern here is that I am only doing this because I imagine very little diff in price compared to OEM- I dont want run any risk at all of destroying my new maf. I know that Autodelta & k&n are known to eat mafs-...
I've noticed whilst browsing quite a few performance tuning online shops that they tend to show a different BMC CDA for the GTA than the BMC website states.
As you can see from attached images BMC provide a generic unit for Bosch MAF cars with the 80mm diameter MAF.
They also provide...
Hey all, Ive recently brought a used BMC, The problem is it didn't come with the securing strap :( any idea the easiest and best thing to use is as I dont want it just resting between the maff and cold feed!!
Ive looked into the propper strap but couldnt find it tho :(

So far Ive tested it quickly down the duel carriage way and it rev's so much better round to 5000 with out realizing! also its not too loud, very slight warble on tick over but when you give it the beans it...
I want to get a BMC filter unit for my Spider, but i seem to get conflicting information as to which one i need.
I would like to have the whole assembly (carbon box) and cold air feed, but cannot find apart number that corresponds to the spider...

As the title states.
Mine has finally arrived (2-4 working days my ****) so hopefully going to fit the Ragazzon quad exit and the box this weekend.
Anything else i'm going to need? I borrow a workshop so I don't like to take up too much ramp time, being prepared always helps.
Hi, ive been trying to get my hands on a BMC CDA intake kit for ages now. I tried buying one online and found out the sites supplier went bust over xmas so im having a refund.
Does anyone know of a shop i can go to in Dorset (can be a bit out of the county, but not 3 hours away).
I was hoping to find someone who has fitted a BMC CDA Iduction kit to their 2.0 GTV. Looking at the BMC website they say that along with the induction cone you need an aluminium connector and straight hose. Now as I see it the aluminium connector is to replace the resonator box? but I...
Ok heres some pictures as to why im so stuck on how to put a BMC CDA airfilter on the car.
As you can see its just so cramped to see what your doing. Also that electrical cable thats plugged into the pipe just above the airbox, that has to be plugged in at all times rite...
