Hi all. I was going to pm Fruity with my question but I think there may well be a few that would find my question interesting. I have a first series 147 TS 2.0, a fine little car. It needs some suspension work - the usual wishbones and draglinks - but also I have sourced both front and rear...
Hi all,im renewing some worn out parts on my 2007 147 sport Q2,from what i can tell the Bilstein B4 is a good setup for road use.
I'm attempting to purchase these:
The supplier has contacted me advising that this is the incorrect part, has anyone...
I have just purchased a brand new Bilstein Alfa Romeo 159 B12 Pro Kit. However they don't come with the Spring Rubber (Part No. 50515170) as photo attached. Those rubbers look tired on existing absorbers.
Told that I can insert some rubber tube on the spring instead.
Please advise if...
I have had it confirmed by bilstein germany that the front dampers sold with the bilstein B12 kits for a 156 will be unavailable until August.
Time for me to look for other options, I had my mind made up and everything.

This is a question you are all probably sick of hearing, but I have done so much research on this forum and still don't have a straight answer. According to the forum, across the range of options, every coilover is either perfect or too firm.
I am running Bilstein b4's on my GT V6...
This is my first post here so warm welcome to everyone!
I own an 2004 (facelift) 156 2.4JTD 20V Sportwagon. I recently replaced all 4 shocks with Biltein B4, all 4 springs with Bilstein B3 and replaced pretty much all bushes with PU from Stronglex. Since the suspension was pretty...
Does anyone know where I can buy Biltein's for my 147? The official answer from Bilstein SA was that I need to speak to a specific person at Goldwagen Midrand. Is there not an official Bilstein outlet?
I've read loads of confusing threads on this, when running Eibach pro kit springs (-30mm), would I be better with a B6 or B8? Some sway towards the B6, which according to Bilstein are a firm damper, designed for standard springs. Others recommend the B8, apparently the same as the B6 except...
Hi there, could anyone point me to anything that might help with my camber problem. Not really sure where to start. I've got my 159 Sports Wagon pretty low on some Bilstein B14 Coilovers. The camber on the front is pretty crazy and it's eating through tyres. I know it's probably just too low but...
I have a late 1995 155 2.0 TS 16v Super that needs a set of new dampers. It is fitted with the Eibach Prokit, thus I want to fit the Bilstein B6, but is the B6 available for this car? I can get a set of Bilstein B4 locally, but it is not what I really want. Can anybody confirm the above...
I have decided to splurge a little coin on the Mito (1.6jtdm)...so, I now have a Bilstein/Eibach B12 kit in the garage ready for fitting.... I will post some before and after pics, so you photo fiends rest easy
I ordered the B12 PRO-Kit - However, it has arrived with RED...
I've been using this forum for the last few months after I brought a 159 Estate 07. It's amazing how useful it's been. I've got a few questions now so I thought I'd introduce myself.
Anyway, I've moved to Ireland (Maynooth, Co Kildare) about 18months ago from New Zealand. I've...
Some time ago in order to upgrade crashy original suspension but retain standard height in my 147 JTDm I decided to fit Bilstein B6 dampers and combine them with OE springs. So apparently combination which is recommended by Bilstein.
Due to higher gas pressure in B6 dampers body sits little bit...
I am a french guy, sorry in advance for my bad english.
I bought on Alfisti :
Bilstein B14 with the four top mounts ( rear top mount for Alfa 156 is needed to fit correctly this coilovers)
Anti roll bar Eibach with four reinforced stabiliser links.
This week mechanician fit all of...
I'll have to change my shocks in the near future, but already have been told by the missus that I'm not allowed to go for stiffer shocks (as I had in the Selespeed - B6's). So I've been seriously considering going for a set of B4's, but then I came across a set of OEM GTA shocks...
I was looking on the Autolusso website and they say that the B12's for the Alfa GT 3.2, the Eibach springs, The Sportline springs are sitting too low for the Alfa.
Has anyone fitted B12's or any other lowering springs for that matter, I really like them.
Anyone suggest going for the...
Hi all you lovely people, on this the greatest of all days (Friday)
One of my Bilstein B12 shocks needs replacement or reconditioning.
I called Bilstein UK, and they charge 100 euro for repair of one shock.
Well, if you do one shock, you really need to do the other for balance.
So for that...
Found these and ordered them for my GT. They are listed for 156 Sportwagon but fit my 2004 GT JTD without issue. I did email them before hand to make sure they would fit as shocks that fit from the 156 seems to be a bit hit or miss. Only issue I had was they were package poorly and there was...
