I went to my local Alfa dealer today, Autoworld of Chesterfield to buy a 'genuine' oil filter for my 07 GT JTDM. After waiting 15 minutes in the Parts Department for someone to come to me, I was eventually told that the price of the filter would be £13.54 inc vat! Well, they can inc what they...
  2. Alfa Giulietta the courtesy cars you get. Dropped off my gorgeous (slightly creaky) Giulietta this morning for a couple of days of tlc and was given a Citroen DS4 in return. Relatively nice to look at, don't get me wrong, but absolutely god-awful to sit in and drive! The travel on the gear lever makes it...

  8. Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Went in to Autoworld this afternoon to order some parts after nerfing the front and back of my ride at the weekend and they have got an offer on timing belts across the range. I didn't have time to note them all but for an Alfa 147 1.6 the costs are: Timing kit ( belt and tensioner) £77.94...

For all those out there who have been bored by my ongoing saga with the above dealer putting right delivery faults......light may be visible on the horizon.... I'd heard rumours of a new Alfa aftersales manager taking up post (the other guy I think left at the end of the 1st week in Jan)...
