Some nice arty pictures of the disused factory at Arese captivating and kind of sad at the same time... :)
One day I will drive my Alfa back to its spiritual home! :) Will make a great road trip....
The last picture of the Alfa seats has inspired me...
Hi guys, my wife and I are going to be in Italy in June 2017. Just wondering, what is the best way to get to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Milan. We are staying really close to the Duomo di Milano.
Also in general, is it better to ride the train rather than rent a car in Italy?
Very excited and have to share my upcoming holiday.....!
So, just in the final stages of planning a roadtrip to Milano at the end of April.
Day 1. Overnight at Beaune, home of Burgundy.
Day 2. Through Mont Blanc Tunnel and in to the Italian spring sunshine, journey via Turin to the outskirts...
They've done a magnificent job, the place is completely transformed and well Worth a visit.
Lovely displays, a great collection of Alfas, 4D cinema and a nice cafè restaurant too.
Sales reps also available to tempt you with a new car.......unfortunately Giulia was taken away 2 days ago!!
Myself along with a few other Alfisti are organising a trip to Italy in September. As an all bloke thing we want to visit motor museums/factories etc. I know the Alfa museum has be shut for a while & political disputes have been happening but does anyone know if or when it is due to or even...
Here's a link to an article in the Italian classic magazine website .
I'll have to pick up a copy
La capitolazione di Arese » Ruoteclassiche[La%20capitolazione%20di%20Arese]/29/
Anyone able to translate the gist of it ?
We're off to Italy in the campervan May/Jun and have decided that on our way down to catch the ferry to Sardinia or Elba (haven't made up our minds 100% which Island yet) we'll call and visit the Alfa Museum at Arese. Any of you guys visited?
there seems to be a campaign to get the museum to reopen;
Museo Storico Alfa Romeo di Arese a Arese (MI) - I Luoghi del Cuore - Censimento 2012 - Fondo Ambiente Italiano
perhaps an italian speaker can help us to understand better.
at least the fil shows us what we are missing.
