  1. 147 Q2 Sport Front ARB Bushes

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Hi Guys, I am going to replace the front ARB bushes on my Q2 sport. Do I need the "standard" bushes or the GTA ones? I thought the Q2 had the same ARB as the GTA but when I have enquired to someone selling them I'm told different. Many Thanks, Bertie
  2. GTV rear ARB with Powerflex bushes

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
I'm getting started with a complete rear suspension rebuild - mostly with new parts. I'm currently trying to fit the rear ARB to the subframe with new Powerflex bushes. The problem is the lip of the bush on one side prevents me being able to bolt the stays on. (See pictures). I'm thinking of...
  3. GT front ARB bushes

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
I'll not be doing this any time soon but when I do come to replace them I'll do what I did with an Impreza I owned some years ago. After replacing the bushes I still had a 'knock', I then removed the new bushes, a 10 minute job on an Impreza, and replaced them with ones 1mm smaller, it's a...

    Alfa 164 & 166
Hi Guys, Could someone recommend a place to buy new arb sub frame bushes please? I've seen some on fleebay but I've no idea if the quality is any good. I also need replacement bushes for the upper engine stabiliser bar. Cheers Steve
  5. Thicker front ARB, lots of movement?

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
Hi, I’ve fitted the thicker bladed front ARB tonight but I’m not sure it’s right? Everything seemed to go together well ok but there’s a lot of lateral movement in the bar as it slides from side to side through the bushes. Also the rubber seal of the drop link lower ball joint is touching the...
  6. Rear ARB for GTA with Xenon lights

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Hi all I note that there are two standard rear ARB's listed for the 156 GTA: for cars with or without Xenon lights. Will either of these fit on a CF2 2.5 V6 156? Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

  8. GT Suspension Knock After ARB bush change

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Hi guys! My '05 GT JTD has a knocking sound in the front when I'm going over some speed bumps, pot holes or uneven road after my ARB bushes have been changed, as if the wheels are shaking off. My upper wishbones were changed around a month ago - at the same mechanic, not an Alfa specialist but...
  9. Rear ARB bush diameter

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
Hello all, Apologies this seems a stupid question - was there an obvious split between vehciles fitted with an 18 or 21mm rear ARB? I need to buy some bushes for the rear on mine but can't access the car for a while to measure them. Assuming perhaps the V6 had a larger ARB... (Mines a 96' 2.0...

  11. 2.4 Sportwagon ARB stiffness

    Alfa 159, Brera & 946 Spider
Morning All, Wondering, does anybody know what the stiffness of the standard 159 anti roll bars for the 2.4 is? (qtronic if that makes a difference). I am looking to fit stiffer anti-roll bars, but it's a bit tricky because finding ARB stiffness in numbers is proving a bit tricky. So need the...
  12. Eibach ARB and Bilsteins done!

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
So, here we are, perhaps not the best location for car photography ( haslity done with a phone camera) but snapped away to capture the winter sun, which made the paintwork gleam! All to do now is to thrash her on the twisties somewhere and take some proper location shots out in the sticks! (...

  14. Home made adjustable Arb drop links

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
After reading and our chat on adjustable drop links for our lowered Alfa's i thought i best look for some but the ones i found were either cheap crap or very expensive with no guarantee that they would fit . so ive made my own from cheaper drop links as a test and if they pass the test i can...
  15. Front Eibach ARB rubbing against hadbrake metal support

    Alfa GTA
Just recently my workshop which specializes in Alfas mounted set of Eibach ARBs. They however encountered some problems after mounting front stabilizer. Eibach front stabilizer 10-20-320-VA is more bended in the middle than the standard GTA/GT 3.2 V6 one, that is why it takes more place in the...
  16. Fitting 147 ARB to a 156

    Alfa GTA
Does anyone know for sure if the 147 GTA ARB fits a 156. As I read one fits the other but the other doesnt fit the other if you get my drift. Im looking to buy the 18mm rear sway bar for a 147 GTA to be fitted to the 156 Thanks all
  17. Stiffer ARB'S for Giulietta

    Alfa Giulietta
Since a few weeks I am the proud owner of a Giulietta QV. It has H&R springs and standard shocks, running on 17". It drives good but I am convinced the turn-in could be improved stil, sharpened up. On my other car (156 GTA) I had Eibach ARB's installed last year and that greatly improved the...

Does anybody know where you can get the front and rear Whiteline ARB for a 145/146/155/Fiat Coupe?
  20. 'First Line' rear ARB drop links - warning

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
Just a heads up that there is an error with their drop link naming. They should be 'sided' i.e. a left & a right. First Line have twice had left hand Drop links in their RH packaging. You can actually fit a left link to the RHS, however they sit at a weird angle, I did & it popped out the...
