    General Alfa Discussion
Already doubting my decision as I love it so will undoubtedly feel remorse at some point but hey ho, the Brera leaves me this week. It's not getting used at all and I know how much the GT suffered when it wasn't in regular use and do not want to get to that point with it :( Clare's GT V6...
  2. I've got a dilemma ahead...

    General Motoring Discussion
Hi all, I suspect I'm going to be getting a 156 v6 soon (I'm missing the Busso noise too much) but I don't think my other half (or the neighbours) are going to be too fond of having four cars around... So I've got to make a choice between my two cars as to which one to dispose of. They're both...
  3. AR future models approved and going ahead.

    South Africa
Sergio basically said this morning that AR models for 2014 has been approved already and will be going ahead as planned. There was worry about delays due to union issues. He place investments on hold in Italy till these issues have been sorted out. Seems its fixed now. And we can expect new...

The joys of multiple car ownership:eek: Got to get the Spider MOT'd & the Brera taxed, MOT'd & serviced:wow: Fingers crossed:( On the plus side, at least our new 500 is saving us shed loads in fuel. Last week, 325 miles for £43 fuel. If I'd done that in the Brera or GT, I'd have been...

  11. Alfa well ahead of the game

    General Alfa Discussion
Well this is one in the eye for Toyota with their Prius, Alfa were way ahead of them just obviously never shouted about it. 2001 ALFA ROMEO 156 1.8 Sportswagon Alfa probably realised the "carbon footprint" of making it was so high they dropped the idea
  12. The Months Ahead

    Alfa GTA
GTA Update : Well I've had the GTA coming up to 2 years at the start of May so I thought I would take it off the road for some of this year and get some jobs done on it and not need to be rushed when putting it back together. When it's all done I can retax it etc. I have a couple of other cars...

    Alfa GTA
Hi, Since fixing my lights I've noticed that my beam seems a little short, I have a very clearly defined line about 5 meters in front of the car, how far should it be? I don't remember it being like this before. Cheers Sean
  14. Great Times Ahead

    Alfa GTA
Got my car back from the shop and what a difference. Had the wheels adjusted so that they now all point the same direction. Added a strut brace and had the front sway bar fixed and neoprene bushes put in And finally, to top it all off, some new rubber. It’s like a new car, I didn’t realise how...
  15. There may be trouble ahead

    Alfa 33, Sud & Sprint
The Sprint has been outside a most of the year (bodywork restoration planned for 2009) but finally I ran it over to a barn I rent so it can be garaged through the winter. When I brake there is so much water under the rear windows it splashes up them inside!! Going to take the trim/cards off...

Let's help Alfa be more inventive with their cars. Any ideas for car options ? Wild or Practical ?? I'll start : 1) Heated steering wheel for the cold mornings. 2) Dash mounted Min/Max oil gauge. :D
  19. Another 12 months ahead?

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
