It is now legal for driverless cars to be used on the roads of California.
A thought occurs; if I were in an accident with one, who is responsible? Would it be the owner of the car, the passenger, the person that programmed it to drive on that particular route, the person that programmed it to...
Just to generally ask.
I had noticed that my insurance renewal seemed high after declaring the 2 accidents in the last 2 years ( hit in rear whilst stationary ) both claims settled and the third party admitted liability on both claims.
I have been loaded on my policy quotes up to £500...
First a bus scraped down the side of Mrs R's brand new Ibiza. :cry:
Then a deer with a death wish ran into the side of my Ti on the motorway. :cry:
And to top it all off, this morning I reversed off my drive straight into the bloke opposite's Astra. :cry:
