I believe I'm seeing better levels of USB audio integration from Apple phones (over Androids) with the first generation Infotainment system on my 2017 Giulia.
If so then it "steers" me towards choosing Apple's over Android's....
Is this what others see too? If you have tried this...
I recently bought a guilietta QV 2014/15 with 48000kms. I may be be being really picky/OCD but I’ve noticed overall the gearbox is really smooth through the gears and downshifting etc. however when taking off from the lights (natural mode) shifting from 1st to 2nd gear there is a tidy...
Did anyone get to this? There was a good representation of Alfas among all the humdrum Ferraris and Lamborghinis! It was very crowded so I didn't get many pics, the ones I got which are worth seeing are attached below.
I have an automoatic (TCT) Mito QV Multiair 1.4 turbo, 2014 year, 43,721 miles on the clock. A couple of months ago it wouldn't engage in 1st, 3rd and 5th gear and I had a warning light come up on the dash (a little red cog with an exclmation mark!) and a message flash up 'check transmission'...
Our next All Italian Car Breakfast Meet is nearly upon us!
Join us on Saturday 1st June.
As with our previous meets, it will be held at The Departure Lounge Cafe, just outside Alton in northern Hampshire.
The café is a great venue for a breakfast meet, as it has a large solid field on which...

Morning folks, I'm very pleased to have become an Alfa owner for the 1st time in 25 years of driving. I've been a petrol head since I could play, but have stayed a bit more mainstream with my car choices. I've always loved Alfa's but never committed to buying one. I've taken a bit of a life...
First post here - very pleased to finally be an Alfa Owner! Have been lurking a while whilst looking at cars to buy.
Yesterday I picked up an 06 Brera 2.2 petrol. 96k miles, two owners, almost full service history (timing chain etc done 10k ago)...All for £2300! There is some minor...
Parts changed in March:
Overboost valve (Pierburg)
New MAF fitted and tried, still low readings - two months ago.
Issues the car has:
- First gear seems to have no boost at all, other gears need some time to get up to boost and then the car pulls; not as it should but still the...
Posting this on behalf of FF coz he's got a bust PC.
Organised by AOS via Fast Frank and EcosseOz, with the help of Vantastic and the Dealer Principle at Western, Raymond Massie.

I went from an old volvo to a beautiful bottle green 156 2.5 V6 (Lusso)which I bought as an early xmas present to myself last week....
Velour interior, wooden steering wheel etc. I LOOVE it!
However... I am experiencing a couple of teeeny problems, which I will post in the technical...
OK, so I love my 156 V6 and it absolutely flies, but I often feel it's somewhat lacking in 1st, revving away and not really laying down the speed to match. Once I get it into 2nd though it feels like it's going to take off by comparison. And before you say it I'm not changing gear like a slouch...
I am posting this for info, this morning I had a fright.
I started the 147 and sat for a mo while the car warmed up, ice cleared from windscreen etc. I then selected 1st and the car stalled - BEEP BEEP BEEP SELESPEED FAILURE.
The car was then stuck in 1st. Would not start, would not go into...
Just a couple of questions, comments... all reply welcome!
Here it was: the 1st year service on my Alfa Roméo 147. I got a reminder from Mangoletsi Knudsford, fine.
So, I phone them, and I got the service done today. As they told me, the cost is 230£
2nd point, a woman called...
I'm a prospective Alfa owner, and I'm completely in love with the way an Alfa looks and sounds, but I've been doing some research (as any good prospective car buyer will do) and there have been some really mixed reviews about the Selespeed... some love it and some think it's a load of...
